There may be extended overtime periods starting at 2:00 pm on Sundays or 2:30 pm on weekdays, with a potential need for first shift help from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm EST. This position requires a pharmacist license in good standing in the State of New Jersey and at least one year of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist. Responsibilities * Verify prescriptions and prescription data entered into the pharmacy computer system for accuracy. * Oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians and inventory personnel. * Organize workload, set priorities, complete assignments in a timely manner, and utilize resources appropriately while complying with department program standards. * Work in the fulfillment area to provide the final quality check prior to medication being packed and shipped. * Perform all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations. * Conform with and support department quality assurance and improvement guidelines. * Lift up to 30 lbs. * Maintain a basic understanding of robotic automation. Essential Skills * Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of New Jersey. * At least 1 year of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist. * Proficiency in navigating MS Office and a Windows-based environment, including creating, editing, saving, and sending documents using Microsoft Word. * Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches. * Flexibility to work the designated shift and flexible hours. Additional Skills & Qualifications * 3 years of experience as a Pharmacist in retail pharmacy, a hospital, or a managed care setting. * 1 year of experience working as a Pharmacist in a fulfillment and/or mail order environment. * Experience with PBM or Managed Care. Work Environment This role primarily involves working in a standing or walking environment. The schedule is primarily from Sunday to Thursday, with flexibility required for extended hours and potential first shift work. The position involves using advanced pharmacy technologies and automation to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, NJ.
