A Pharmacist's primary responsibility is to ensure patients receive safe and appropriate medication. Pharmacists fill prescriptions based on the information and dosage provided by the doctor. Pharmacists must ensure that the dosage is correct for the patient and their condition. The responsible pharmacist shall retain all professional and personal responsibility for any assisted tasks performed by personnel under his or her responsibility.
