Candidates with no prior permanent employment with the State of Wisconsin in the past 5 years may be eligible to accept a sign-on bonus of $3,000. The sign-on bonus will be paid in two installments: $1500 on the first paycheck and $1500 with the paycheck for the pay period in which the employee attains permanent status (usually 1 year). (UW System employment isn't disqualifying.)
To receive the bonus, a candidate must sign an agreement indicating they will remain in that occupational area for a year. If the candidate leaves their occupational area prior to completing the one year, they may be required to reimburse the initial payment.

Job Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Provides on-site response within 60 minutes of being called for trauma/crisis support.
2. Serves as a liaison between hospital team members, patients, families, community health, and social and governmental agencies.
3. Provides and documents in the patient's electronic medical record a psycho-social assessment that utilizes critical thinking skills appropriate to multiple age groups, family dynamics, diverse populations, etc.
4. Develops and implements a plan for support based upon the needs of the psycho-social assessment.
5. Provides adaptability and continuing assessment concerning evolving crisis process and support needs.
6. Provides grief and bereavement support facilitation.
7. Provides collaborative support for team members concerning critical situations such as mandatory reporting situations.
8. Provides collaborative communication with hospital team members including successive handoffs of care after their shift.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Masters' degree in social work or counseling as required by the State of Wisconsin for certification

Candidates with no prior permanent employment with the State of Wisconsin in the past 5 years may be eligible to accept a sign-on bonus of $3,000. The sign-on bonus will be paid in two installments: $1500 on the first paycheck and $1500 with the paycheck for the pay period in which the employee attains permanent status (usually 1 year). (UW System employment isn't disqualifying.)
To receive the bonus, a candidate must sign an agreement indicating they will remain in that occupational area for a year. If the candidate leaves their occupational area prior to completing the one year, they may be required to reimburse the initial payment.

Schedule: This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week position, with hours Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday off, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call and holiday requirements are listed below.
On-call responsibilities include either one full weekend every other month or one weekend shift per month, whichever fits your preferred rotation. Weekend call shifts run Friday 5 p.m.-9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or 11 a.m.-8 p.m. One holiday per year is required, with holiday shifts running 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Candidates with no prior permanent employment with the State of Wisconsin in the past 5 years may be eligible to accept a sign-on bonus of $3,000. The sign-on bonus will be paid in two installments: $1500 on the first paycheck and $1500 with the paycheck for the pay period in which the employee attains permanent status (usually 1 year). (UW System employment isn't disqualifying.)
To receive the bonus, a candidate must sign an agreement indicating they will remain in that occupational area for a year. If the candidate leaves their occupational area prior to completing the one year, they may be required to reimburse the initial payment.
