POSITION SUMMARY

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCES
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensed to practice behavioral health services in the state where services are being delivered (LICSW or LMHC required).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment unit programs and problem resolution as needed.
Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required clinical services for inmates housed in Secure Treatment Units.
Supervises the planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services within Secure Treatment Units.
Monitors efforts of Behavioral Health Services in Secure Treatment Units to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.
Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
Provides direct clinical services including individual and group treatment, crisis intervention, as well as providing shadowing and mentor opportunities to front-line clinical staff.
Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
Provides administrative support to behavioral health staff.
Coordinates with the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
Attends training and meetings as required.
Maintain proficiency with all software required for the position, and more specifically, clinical documentation in the designated electronic health record system.
Other duties as assigned.

The SocialWorker is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that provides evaluations and interventions to children and families in the EI Program. The SocialWorker assesses risk factors such as parental mental illness, substance abuse, domestic and/or community violence. They also provide training, education and resource support that responds to the child's special needs and the development of family relationships and routines. This position participates in evaluations, interventions, and development of the Individual Family Service plan (IFSP) for children and their families.
Requirements:
Must hold MA current licensure as a LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMFT or LMHC license-eligible with proof of license eligibility.
Education commensurate with holding current licensure as listed above.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric setting working with children under the age of 5. Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities preferred.
Must hold current, valid driver's license and the ability to provide proof of insurance coverage for travel between home visits.
Must hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid training.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmental milestones and delays in children, as well as the impact of emotional, behavioral, and neurological disabilities on the child's functioning and development. Must be flexible and adaptable in administering therapy.

We are looking for a full time/part time SocialWorker to join our Early Intervention Program serving the Lawrence area.
The SocialWorker (Family Worker) is a member of a multi-disciplinary team working in Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover, Andover providing in-home and childcare center EI services for children ages 0-3 who have or are at risk for developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability. The SocialWorker (Family Worker) provides therapeutic support to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges for the child and family. Assesses risk factors such as parental mental illness, substance abuse, domestic and/or community violence. This position participates in evaluations, interventions, and development of the Individual Family Service plan (IFSP) for children and their families.
Requirements:
Must hold MA current licensure as a LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMFT or LMHC license-eligible with proof of license eligibility.
Education commensurate with holding current licensure as listed above.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric setting working with children under the age of 5. Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities preferred.
Must hold current, valid driver's license and the ability to provide proof of insurance coverage for travel between home visits.
Must hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid training.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmental milestones and delays in children, as well as the impact of emotional, behavioral, and neurological disabilities on the child's functioning and development. Must be flexible and adaptable in administering therapy.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with sufficient computer and technical skills to complete position required documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively with families, team members and other professionals.
Outstanding time management, organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, empathy and compassion for children and families.
History of maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries and displaying qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to Partner in Child Development's mission, vision, and values.
Ability to obtain or provide a National Provider Identifier (NPI) required by MA Department of Public Health (DPH) for MA Early Intervention providers and issued through the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES).
Successful criminal background screening, including check with the Commonwealth of MA Department of Criminal Justice Information Services criminal and sex offender database.

Our ideal candidate will possess a passion for working in the field of child welfare and social work and will support DCF SocialWorkers in providing services to children and families who are open consumers of DCF.
Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
Work collaboratively with DCF socialworkers, supervisors and managers to support various action planning tasks to reinforce casework direction.
Complete all documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to completion of BRC Approval Requests, referral packets and case filing.
Transport children to health, social services or other agency-related appointments as required.
Supervise visits between children in placement and family members as directed.
Maintain ongoing communication with DCF staff and other constituencies as needed.
Conduct and document collateral calls to health/social service providers, schools and law enforcement agencies as directed.
Attend supervision, staff meetings and in-service training.
Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the community, with clients, schools, courts and with referring agencies seeking to build and sustain positive relationships.
Licenses: Based on assignment, a current and valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's license or the equivalent from another state may be required.
