DUTIES:

Minimum Qualifications:

Outpatient Therapists have flexible scheduling within a 40-hour work week. Clinic hours are 8am-5pm (Monday through Thursday) and 8am-4pm (Friday). The agency provides eight paid holidays.
Outpatient Therapists benefit from specific licensure supervision, collaborative staffing, training on evidence-based practices, professional development opportunities, and paid licensure.
Mid-Plains Center is an approved site for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program; a student loan payment program that pays educational debt in exchange for clinical hours worked.

Details: Outpatient Oncology Dietitian - Heartland Clinic
Manage medical nutrition care for a generalized patient population. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate nutrition care with the patient's overall plan of care throughout the continuum. Use the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT) to assess nutrition status, identify nutrition diagnoses, and develop, implement and evaluate outcomes of nutrition care plans for patients at nutrition risk. Use skills, knowledge, evidence-based practice, and clinical judgment to address prevention, delay, or management of acute or chronic diseases and conditions for individuals and groups. Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families and the community. Train nutrition and other health care profession students in the clinical and classroom setting. Participate in process improvement, outcomes measurement and clinical research.
Required Qualifications: Outpatient Oncology Dietitian - Heartland Clinic
Bachelor's degree granted by a US regionally accredited college or university or foreign equivalent. Completion of required nutrition and dietetics coursework and supervised practice through a Didactic Program in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program in Dietetics, or Future Graduate Program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required.
Knowledge and application of Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT) required.
Clear and consistent written and verbal communication required.

Nebraska Correctional Center for Women: The state's only secure correctional facility for adult women. Diagnostics and evaluation for newly incarcerated women as well as routine mental health services. Psychological evaluations for court ordered 90-day evaluators.
This in an at-will position. Compensation is commensurate with experience for for fully-licensed Psychologists. Provisionally licensed individuals are also encouraged to apply and will be considered at $95,000 minimum starting salary.
Assist in the development, establishment, implementation and evaluation of psychological and other mental health services for various populations as needed. Provide clinical consultation to mental health staff. May assist the Mental Health Director in the supervision of other non-licensed psychologists, students and other mental health practitioners. Provide training to other mental health and correctional staff as needed.
DUTIES: Provide clinical consultation to mental health staff. Develop or supervise the development of behavioral plans for high risk or special needs inmates. Provide and supervise psychotherapy and treatment services. Provide psychological services to inmates including observation, crisis intervention and mental status evaluations. Provide crisis management/intervention services. Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations directed toward the determination of diagnosis, risks and needs, with subsequent appropriate course of treatment. Participate on involuntary medication hearings. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings as required. Participate/supervise the preparation of information for, and participate in, various clinical review teams as needed. Maintain and complete paperwork, reports and other documentation according to policy and as needed and required. Maintain current Nebraska licensure.
