We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join a mission-driven organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The psychologist will play a key role in conducting evaluations, determining eligibility, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and supporting case management services. Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Perform eligibility reviews in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments, including:
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), (Wechsler)
Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales
Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development
Provide clinical consultation and support to case management staff.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and documentation.
Participate in training, committees, and occasional court testimony regarding eligibility determinations.
Requirements
PhD or PsyD in Psychology required.
Active California license as a psychologist required.
Required experience in:
Testing for developmental disabilities.
Eligibility reviews for services.
Case management support and physician collaboration.
Strong analytical, clinical formulation, and report-writing skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative with team and great communication.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus! Not required

* Developing, managing and monitoring social services functions at the regional level in regard to the implementation of child welfare, child protection and ICWA guidance and regulations that are shared by other program offices.
* Provides oversight and assumes responsibility for evaluating and recommending needed improvements to the automated and manual data systems used by human services programs for receiving and processing ICWA notices and tracking and maintaining tribal ICWA designated agent contact information.
* Interpret and develop human/social services programs and encourage full use of other appropriately related programs.
* Provides technical assistance to Tribes in the development of Indian Child Welfare Act grants. Knowledge of grant policy, providers and authorities under which the BIA may award the grants. Serves as the Awarding Official's Technical Representative (AOTR) for ICWA grants/contracts.
* Review agency contractor social casework records for compliance.
* Conduct on-site technical evaluation reviews for quality control in Tribally operated and private contract foster care programs.
* Provide training to Tribes; Tribal human/social/community services programs; other government agencies; internal employees; and other relevant stakeholders in the areas of child welfare, child protection services and ICWA compliance.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Professional and Scientific Positions and Individual Occupational Requirements for GS-0185: Social Work Series).
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Degree: Social Work. Must fulfill all of the requirements for the MASTER'S DEGREE in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: In addition to meeting the basic entry level qualification requirements, applicants must have the following:
GS-09: I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service which involved applying professional knowledge of the principles and practices of social work; providing direct services to individuals and families, and groups; educating or providing instruction, training, consultation and/or advice on social work related questions and services; interprets and applies skills in the provision of human/social services program support to beneficiaries. (Your resume must support this experience.) OR 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree.
GS-11: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sector) which includes work involving applying practical knowledge of a wide range of social casework, family therapy, systems theory and community organization; direct provision of child welfare services, maintaining active agency participation in the varied advocacy and intervention programs and the coordination of and required cooperation with allied social services, health and other agencies; providing counseling services; developing and maintaining a formalized case management system which documents the workflow of case services with individual case plans; provides technical assistance on all aspects of social services programs and activities. (Your resume must support this experience.) OR 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

This is a full-time position ideal for a clinician eager to make a lasting impact. You'll provide individual, group, and family therapy, conduct clinical assessments, and coordinate care to support youth experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs. Working closely with peers and community partners, you'll help create a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy and mental health services
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide care coordination
Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions
Connect youth to internal and external resources, including healthcare, education, and community supports
Participate in case reviews, multidisciplinary team meetings, and quality improvement activities
Engage in outreach and youth-led programming to reduce stigma and increase access to care

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

Summary

Your Impact
As a Special Skills Social Worker, you will support the Foster Care Placement Services, contributing to our foster care program's smooth and effective operation. Your work will directly influence the well-being of foster children and the efficiency of our service delivery.
What You'll Do
Provide Essential Support:Liaise with county and state agencies, school personnel, clients and their relatives, Resource Parents, and the community.
Crisis Intervention:Offer crisis intervention support to children, youth, and families.
Ensure Compliance:Review and assess critical incidents, submit reports, and track placements.
Facilitate Transitions:Assist with placement transitions, ensuring smooth processes and family compliance.
Engage and Train:Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training for resource families.
Contribute to Excellence:Stay informed of industry trends and best practices and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
Master's degree in social work or related field.
Deep knowledge of foster care regulations and interim licensing standards.
Valid California Driver's license and required registrations.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work with children and youth with complex needs.
Competence in cultural and community resource knowledge.
Work Environment
You will work primarily in the office, with required home visits and community meetings. Flexibility is essential, including some non-traditional hours and on-call duties. Core hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:30 with certain hours and days mandated as in-office workdays. This position requires working both during regular office hours and after hours. We are responsive to clients during and after hours. This position also requires attendance for off-hours activities for youth engagement. This may require altering your hours of operation while accommodating mandated in-office workdays.
