Head Volleyball Coach

* Discipline, Morale and Residential Living of Student Athletes

* Provides leadership and role modeling to the college community, including the administration, assistant coach, student athletes, faculty, staff, officials, and boosters.
* Inspires cooperation and communication between the Volleyball program and college constituents.
* Demonstrates knowledge of and commitment to the rules of the NJCAA.
* Provides supervision of NEO student athletes.
* Serves as the College spokesperson to external constituencies pertaining to the NEO Volleyball program.

Essential Duties:
Performs management of all aspects of the Women s Flag Football sports program to include coaching, scheduling, organizing and conducting practice, arranging for team travel, budget management, providing academic oversight, and public relations development.

Operates the flag football program in a fiscally responsible manner by following all University financial policies and procedures, while appropriately monitoring program budget and expenses.
Performs athletic administration and support activities, including regular attendance at department meetings.
Monitors academic progress of student athletes.
Develop and maintain quality relationships within the community both on and off-campus.
Promote the academic and athletic well-being of student-athletes.

Assist in the solicitation of major gifts to the program.

Education, Experience, and Licenses
Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university required.
Demonstrated a minimum of 2 years of successful coaching experience with experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Previous Head Coaching Experience at any level is preferred.
Proven experience in recruiting highly motivated and qualified student-athletes.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet university s insurance requirements for driving college vehicles required.
Current certification in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator (AED) use is preferred at the time of hire, and will be required prior to participation in any countable athletically related activities as defined by the NCAA.

Responsible for stocking supplies and maintenance of exam rooms, front desk, and reception area; ensure providers have medical supplies needed.
Responsible for completing order sheets to maintain supply inventory levels; regularly check expiration dates on supplies.
Responsible for maintenance of medical records and scanning charts to patient files.
Answer phone calls, collect and sort daily incoming and outgoing postal correspondence.
Ensure reception area is well maintained.
Conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up.
