Major Function and Scope
Perform the setup, control and monitoring of the operation of the UV Coating Line.
Will be responsible for adjusting flow, light, speed, and other adjustments as necessary to the various aspects of the process to achieve production and quality goals.
Monitors and performs quality control tests and uses them as indicators for adjustment to the UV Line process.
Have the knowledge & experience necessary to run the department in the absence of the Superintendent.
Ensure that schedule changes are made in the most efficient manner.
Assist in Quality Control functions.
Maintain applicator roll and equipment for the UV Line.
Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays if needed.
Knowledge, Experience, and Competencies
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
Excellent communication skills are required.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
Stand walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. handle or feel objects tools, or controls handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be able to move full barrels using a dolly.
Work near moving mechanical parts.
Is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
Work in a normally loud / noisy work environment.
Must be able to wear a respirator if needed.
GED or High Scholl Diploma required
2 years’ experience preferred
Must be able to successfully pass background check
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All team members must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities during daily business, including some which may not normally be part of the job description for an equivalent position elsewhere. It is therefore a requirement that the individual filling this position has an aptitude to learn new skills, to think for him/herself, and be able to work in an environment where fixed routines may not be established.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid and cold temperatures.

The employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds. Employee must be able to wear respirator for extended periods of time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
