Job Description
The Senior Analyst, Institutional Research reports to the Executive Director, Institutional Research and Data Analytics whose primary responsibility is to provide institution wide analysis, metrics, and management information about the institution's students, faculty, staff, enrollment, academic programs, and related items. The position will directly support the institution's ongoing planning needs and will provide data analysis that support sound decisions. This position requires a range of skills including proficiency using SQL, statistical analysis software, survey development and coding, preparing reports, visuals, and/or presentations appropriate for the target audience.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Sociology, Psychology, or other data and/or analysis-based concentration; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3 years of full-time comparable professional experience.
* Experience creating data visualizations using platforms such as Tableau, MS Excel, MS Power BI.
* Experience using quantitative and qualitative research platforms such as SPSS, R, Qualtrics, and Nvivo.
* Experience using SPSS or other statistical software such as R, SAS, etc.
* Experience writing SQL queries.
* Experience designing and managing quantitative and qualitative research projects.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a higher education environment.
* Experience administering, analyzing results, and presenting results from large scale surveys (2000+ respondents).

Job Description
The Preschool Program Senior Specialist is responsible for assisting in the administration of the Early Childhood Education Lab Program. The preschool program will consist of at least two early childhood classrooms serving children and may serve children infant through preschool age.
This position reports to the Director of Early Childhood Education and provides expertise in the implementation of the ECE lab program policies in support of the Education Department. This position takes leadership to manage the activities of educators and administrators located at the ECE Lab, ensure childcare licensing compliance, excellence as verified by NAEYC and Nevada's QRIS, and high-quality programming which provides high-quality education for the children of CSN students and staff, as well as members of the community. This person is also responsible to assist the Director in providing a model environment for CSN students to engage in observation and practicum studies.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Education in Early Childhood Education or a related field from a regionally accredited college/university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Nevada Registry member (can be completed after hire).
* 2-3 years' experience in ECE setting.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Education in ECE/Child Development.

Student Government and Leadership Development are seeking two part-time employees for each of its three Student Unions who are student-centered and customer friendly. Under the supervision of the Director of Student Government and Leadership Development, the Leadership Front Desk Supervisor represents the Student Government and Student Union Offices. As the hub of the student union, the Leadership Front Desk Supervisor assists and supports students and staff at CSN.
In addition to providing administrative support to the Student Government and Leadership Development departments, Leadership Front Desk Supervisor coordinates the onboarding process for students and staff. The Director or members of the Director's Leadership Team may request this position to assist with projects, events, and initiatives for the department. Leadership Front Desk Supervisors are responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and office operations of the area. Ensures that all office functions are rendered in a quality manner and supervises the volunteer and student workers.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the operation of the Student Government and Student Union front desks
On-site supervisor for Federal Work Student Students, Leadership Program Assistants, Student Government Members, and Leadership Program Volunteers
Identify discrepancies, resolve problems, and provide guidance to student staff; authorize and approve documents within assigned parameters
Participates in structured outreach for various student government and leadership development office initiatives
Function as a referral source throughout the academic year to support all students and student services areas at all three campuses
Inventory of all student government union supplies
Assist Student Government and Leadership Development Team with the implementation of an assessment plan throughout the academic year
Attend and participate in all required training workshops provided in student services and college transition
Coordinating monthly meetings, and training student union staff
Guiding student staff through employee onboarding including all essential documents and direct deposit information
Verifying payroll of student employees
Verifying students are adhering to scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications
Must have proficient computer skills including the ability to work remotely using various collaborative computer software such as MS Teams, Webex, and or Zoom
Must have an associate degree completed or nearly completed an associate degree within the academic year hired
Ability to demonstrate a focus and practice on putting “students first” that translates in all responsibilities as a Student Government and Leadership Development Office Team

Job Description

This position reports directly to the General Counsel. This position provides a broad range of routine paraprofessional, technical, and administrative support services to the Office of General Counsel (OGC). The position is responsible for managing the OGC budget, finance, strategic planning, divisional business processes, and in a legal assistant capacity with the legal representation, legal research, and legal counseling performed by the Office of General Counsel. This position manages a high-volume office and performs paralegal and administrative tasks associated with the following principal duties and responsibilities:
* Reports to and is directly responsible for legal secretarial and administrative support services for the General Counsel.
* Assist in the monitoring of OGC budget activities throughout the year, prepare and analyze budget reports, including the processing of supplier invoices.
* Gather, summarize, and prepare reports related to engagement of outside counsel and reimbursement requests related to litigation expenses for NSHE and/or the Nevada Attorney General.
* Under supervision of attorneys, provide legal support to the OGC to include but not limited to, the drafting, preparation, proofreading, processing and filing of legal documents, correspondence, discovery responses and requests, motions, early case conference, employment and litigation arbitration and administrative hearing documents and other related legal office activities; operates personal computer to compose, edit, revise, tabulate, and print a variety of documents including but not limited to letters, legal documents, and reports.
* Calendars and monitors time sensitive deadlines for claims, litigation, other legal proceedings and OGC meetings.
* Perform general research including legal research involving legal analysis and application of relevant statutes, case and administrative rules, document searches and factual searches within internal and external databases and systems, cull relevant information from a variety of resources such as newspapers, magazines, libraries case documents and trade associations.
* Compiles, reviews, and organizes evidence and other information for administrative agencies such as the Chancellor, Office of Civil Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and/or Nevada Equal Rights Commission.
* Conduct the bates-stamping, redaction, duplication and indexing of documents.
* Establish and maintain files and a file tracking system which are organized chronologically, numerically and/or by subject matter.
* Under the guidance of an attorney, categorize documents by subject matter, prepare a chronology of facts and create production charts.
* Preparation, calendaring, and filing of pleadings and other court documents
* Coordinating the receipt of and the gathering of relevant documents to respond to public records requests and/or subpoenas.

* Receive, screen, and refer visitors and/or clients, as well as scheduling appointments, receiving and making phone calls for the OGC.

* Proficiency and efficiency in Wiznet/Odyssey and Pacer. Job Description
The part-time specialist of Clinical Documentation Compliance provides administrative and clerical support to the Manager of Clinical Coordination/Education to ensure the effective coordination of clinical education within the Nursing Department. This role is primarily responsible for managing records, processing compliance documentation, maintaining communication with clinical partners, and supporting the logistical aspects of clinical placements. Key Responsibilities

* Track and monitor student/faculty requirements (immunizations, background checks, drug screens, certifications, onboarding paperwork) and notify students/faculty of deficiencies.
* Assist in preparing, distributing, and collecting onboarding documents.

* Assist students course scheduling as directed by the Manager.

Position Summary
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide didactic and/or laboratory instruction in the Baccalaureate program; provide clinical supervision at multiple sites with varied shifts.
Develop curriculum, syllabi and course materials; participate in program development and review.

Required Qualifications.
Current RRT credential, Baccalaureate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Cardiorespiratory Sciences, education, or equivalent (related) field, from a regionally accredited College or University plus clinical experience. OR
Current RRT credential, Associate's degree from a CoARC accredited program and a minimum of 10 years extensive clinical experience. A successful candidate will be expected to attain at least a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution within 36 months of initial employment with CSN.
Current Nevada license within 4 months of the date of hire.
Current AHA certifications in BLS.

Starting Salary Range
Initial salary placement is based on educational level and total years of full-time equivalent teaching experience. For example, for an instructor with a Master's degree, the salary range would be $58,046 to $74,304 annually. The entire salary range is up to $89,166 annually with a Doctorate and 10 years' experience. A maximum of 10 years of experience will be considered for initial salary placement purposes.

Job Description

This position is for Part-time Instructor that can teach classroom based courses in any of the three CSN locations; North Las Vegas, Charleston, Henderson. There are will be opportunities for evening and weekends.
IS101 - Introduction to Information Systems is a course that focuses on personal computer fundamentals (Microsoft Platform). Topics include Computing Hardware, Software, File Management, Security, Cloud Computing, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Citizenship, and Using the Internet Safely and Effectively. Our program offers Microsoft Office Specialist Certification. All instructors are required to take and pass the Microsoft Office365 Word, Excel, and PPT MOS certification exams as part of the selection process. CSN will provide the certification exams and a proctored test environment as necessary for candidate finalists.

Job Description
The Senior Analyst, Institutional Research reports to the Executive Director, Institutional Research and Data Analytics whose primary responsibility is to provide institution wide analysis, metrics, and management information about the institution's students, faculty, staff, enrollment, academic programs, and related items. The position will directly support the institution's ongoing planning needs and will provide data analysis that support sound decisions. Required Qualifications

Position Summary

The Instructor, Clinical Lab Sciences will teach courses assigned by the Program Director in subject matter pertaining to Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Teaching includes, but is not limited to, clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, transfusion medicine, and/or phlebotomy.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Teaching assignments will be courses that prepare students for national Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Scientist, and Medical Laboratory Technician certifications.
* Assigned courses, days, times and/or locations may vary from semester to semester.
* Assignments may be any combination of classroom, hybrid, and online modes.
* Assignments may be located on any combination of CSN's several campuses.
* Assignments may be any combination of morning, afternoon, and evening hours.
* Assignments may be any combination of any days of the week including weekends.
Leadership may include, but not be limited to, any of the following:
* Oversee specialty lab areas and classrooms.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences from an accredited College or University.
* National certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
* Current Nevada State Clinical Laboratory Technologist, or General Supervisor license, or eligible to obtain.
* Minimum of 2 years full-time clinical laboratory science experience as an MT or MLS.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master or Doctoral degree in CLS or related field such as chemical, physical, or biological sciences; administration; public health; or education.
* Experience using Canvas or similar Learning Management System (LMS).
* Experience working with a diverse workforce and/or student body.
* Post-secondary teaching experience desired, CLS preferred; experience mentoring, coaching or training basic skill development preferred; demonstrated abilities to use computer-aided instruction.
Starting Salary Information
Initial salary placement is based on educational level and total years of full-time equivalent teaching experience. For example, for an instructor with a Master's degree, the salary range would be $58,046 to $74,304 annually. The entire salary range is up to $89,166 annually with a Doctorate and 10 years' experience. A maximum of 10 years of experience will be considered for initial salary placement purposes.

The selected candidate may choose Tenure Track or Market Factor salary.

Position Summary
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN), Department of Human Behavior, is currently seeking a full-time tenure-track Sociology Instructor.
Teaching assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day, evening, weekends, on-ground, online, and/or hybrid classes in accordance with department needs.
Under the direction of the Department Chair, the Sociology Instructor will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:
* Provide instruction for introductory and upper-level Sociology courses.

Starting Salary Information
Initial salary placement is based on educational level and total years of full-time equivalent teaching experience. For example, for an instructor with a Master's degree the salary range would be $58,046 to $74,304 annually. The entire salary range is up to $89,166 annually with a Doctorate and 10 years' experience. A maximum of 10 years of experience will be considered for the initial salary placement purposes. *
