We are in search of a CAD Drafting Supervisor to join our diverse and dynamic organization. As a core team member of our Power Delivery Solutions Division, you will be interacting with an established group of engineers, designers and drafters, playing a valuable part in executing drafting of accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects, using MicroStation and AutoCAD. Provide technical expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD Electrical, and Civil 3D. Troubleshoot CAD issues and provide production support for complex substation drawings. Ensure proper use of XREFs, reference files, model/paper space practices, and version control. Maintain and improve block libraries, symbol sets, and automated tools (LISP routines, scripts, macros). Support the implementation and use of document management systems such as ProjectWise or Vault. Evaluate and support adoption of new CAD technologies, including 3D/built-environment tools. Train staff on CAD standards, utility requirements, workflows, and software updates. Document best practices, drafting procedures, and internal workflow guidelines. Incorporate field redlines and ensure accurate as-built drawing updates. Promote a collaborative, efficient, and quality-focused drafting team culture. What you will bring to the table (Required Qualifications): AS degree in Drafting and Design Degree from an accredited institution. HS diploma or Drafting Certificate with additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 5-10 years of drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
