Proficiency in SketchUp is required; experience with Vscape, Blender, V-Ray, or 3ds Max is a bonus.

As the Drafter I your primary responsibility will be creating manufacturing prints from 3D models using SolidWorks. Other duties will include creating models from sketches, creating assemblies, documentation control using a PDM system and sourcing components. Your detailed work will be an important part of creating new products for a wide range of customers. You will work closely with engineers and machinists in a first article through mass production environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Creating manufacturing prints adhering to company and industry standards using SolidWorks
Assigning part numbers to parts and drawings
Checking drawing created by engineers
Creating 3D models
Creating assembly drawings
Creating bill of materials
Assisting with assembly of prototypes
Processing drawing changes (red lines)
Data migration from previous ERP system to new ERP system
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience:
SAP experience preferred
Demonstrate a minimum of 1 - 3 years' experience with Drafting/3D modeling/Assembly exploded views using SolidWorks
SolidWorks Mechanical and PDM experience
Ability to produce fabrication drawings for all types of custom parts (machined, weldments, sheet metal, 3D printed)
Basic understanding of electrical drawingsa plus
Basic understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures
Knowledge or experience with manufacturing and/or machine shops
Highly Proficient in mechanical drafting using SolidWorks Mechanical
Proficient in ASME ANSI Y14.5 metric and ISO 128 drafting standards
Ability to produce ballooned assembly drawings with accurate BOM table
Strong attention to detail
Ability to understand design intent and design-for-manufacturability when drafting parts
Ability to create 3D models from rough sketches
Ability to work independently and without supervision, self-starter
Ability to stay organized, work on multiple projects at once and manage time efficiently
Ability to source components and component specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to constructively receive feedback on work product and update accordingly

Required Qualifications
Associates in Drafting or similar degree.
5+ years of experience in AutoCAD leading the development of architectural, structural (concrete and steel structures), mechanical, electrical, and civil drawing sets.
Proven 3D design experience with ability to visualize and communicate in 3D.
Experience with Civil 3D and modeling software (Solidworks, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, BIM, MicroStation, InfraWorks, Recap, and/or 3DsMax).

The starting salary range posted for this position is $166,500.00 to $234,100.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.
U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.

+ Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
+ Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
+ .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
+ 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
+ 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
+ Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

$191,400.00 - $323,600.00

$176,100.00 - $287,900.00
