Key Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Work with the buying team to gain clear direction of design and fit intent while maintaining fit consistency
Work closely with manager and buyers on deadlines of delivery for each style.
Create tech packs with detail sketches and specific construction details to ensure that first proto sample meet intended style, fit and construction.
Maintain all technical aspects of the tech pack sent to the vendor. This includes detailed construction, sewing instructions, measurement verification, tolerances, graded specs and fit comments.
Maintain and update block details as directed by Technical Design Manager.
Approve all graded specs once we have fit approval and maintain graded spec library.
Oversee the final technical specs for each sample.
Communicate fit comments and corrections to vendors, and factories using detailed sketches, and photos in order to develop a good fitting sample
Be able to identify potential production and quality problems at the development stage and make necessary recommended changes
Manage and facilitate fit sessions independently with fit models and buying team and ensure that fit and quality standards are met.
Ability to identify pattern inaccuracies and recommend corrective adjustments.
Support and contribute to visual construction of each style and make recommended style changes.
Research and resolve fit and construction issues using appropriate resources
Able to measure samples point by point when submitted by vendors.
Review construction of garments and communicate to buyers and vendors of any sewing problems.
Maintain and enter specs in Excel document.
Knowledge of garment construction for fashion knit tops, bottoms, and outer wear.
Work with PD Manager on any fit issues that develops during the pre-production/production process.
Write fit comments and corrections on correcting patterns/samples when needed.
Communicate with multiple domestic and overseas vendors; ensure clarity of construction, grading, and measurement requirements.

Our Ontario team is looking for a skilled CAD drafter to join the team. Job Purpose:
Prepare technical CAD drawings for assigned projects.
Job Responsibilities
Creating Technical Drawings: Drafting precise technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
Detailing and Annotations: Ensuring that drawings are accurately detailed, annotated, and dimensioned to convey necessary information for construction or production
Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as necessary.
Quality Assurance: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards and project requirements.
Project Analysis: Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes.
Material Takeoffs: Assisting in material takeoffs and quantity surveys to support project estimation and procurement processes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD Software: Expertise in using CAD software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks) with a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engineering or architectural principles, construction methods, and materials to accurately translate design concepts into technical drawings.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in drafting tasks, including proper dimensioning, scaling, and annotation.

What You'll Do
Utilize survey data to develop precise base maps for utility and infrastructure planning.
Draft city infrastructure elements including streetlights, sewer lines, storm drains, curbs, gutters, and other public assets.
Apply SCE-specific drafting standards across various base mapping projects.
Committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving SCE drafting guidelines and procedures.
Create Single Lines, vicinity maps, index sheet, and viewports
Tie down structures (station and dimension all Edison Structures to proper standards)
Utilizes AutoCAD /AUD to create Base maps from Survey and GeoView.
Implementing city utilities such as water, storm drain, sewer, and any other utilities that are in the project area using city as-builts provided by our Look-Up Department
Following up on city utilities request form our Look-Up department
Re-drawing Edison Underground ducts and cables in AUD using GeoViews offsets and dimensions.
Maintain and organize digital files and documentation in accordance with company and client protocols.
Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with drafting standards and project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate and timely drafting deliverables.
Work a regular 40‐hour workweek, with overtime as required.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and submit deliverables on time.
What You'll Bring
Basic knowledge and ability to utilize AutoCAD and AUD software.
Ability to accurately interpret underground utility layouts, including SCE cable and duct runs.
Experience reading overhead electrical system callouts and integrating them into drafting deliverables.
Ability to code routines within AutoCAD
Knowledge of general civil drafting practices
Ability to read and understand City As-Builts and civil maps
Ability to utilize online maps to gather information.
