Responsibilities + Support the main designer in the initial design phase using Revit, Lumion, and Enscape. + Complete construction documents for mixed-use multi-family projects and various commercial projects as needed. + Collaborate with senior designers to brainstorm and refine design concepts, with a strong ability to render. + Research site conditions, zoning requirements, and client objectives to inform design direction. + Work closely with internal teams to ensure design feasibility. + Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders during iterative design phases. + Stay current on architectural trends, materials, and sustainability practices. + Explore creative solutions that align with project goals and budget. Essential Skills + 1-3 years experience within architecture and initial design phases using Lumion or Enscape. + Full proficiency in Revit. + Experience with ground-up wood-frame projects ranging from 33-300 units. + Strong understanding of mixed-use multi-family residential projects. + Experience in initial concept design, schematic design, and design development. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong understanding of building codes, ADA, and construction documents. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Architecture. + Demonstrate understanding of project process and implementation. + Able to work both collaboratively and independently. Work Environment The work environment is highly collaborative, with roughly 15 employees who form a tight-knit group. The company culture is strong, with very limited turnover and many staff members having been with the firm for over 15 years. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayne, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.46/hr.
