Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
As we continue to expand, the Purview UX Team is looking for a passionate and focused Product Designer 2-an influential creator who can contribute to our UX team as well as our product in crafting intuitive experiences that create complex stories that feel effortless. Defines needs of product designs as the owner for a set of experiences/products based on multiple factors such as user insights and business needs. Identifies needs that are not spoken and includes them in end-to-end design plan and process. Begins to develop a synthesis of user insights and compares with data to identify larger issues that may not be apparent for user desires. Collaborates with product owners and development team members to shepherd end-to-end experiences from concept to ship for products.
Generates ideation solutions to improve product designs. Utilizes a variety of perspectives when ideating (e.g., business, experience, technology). Synthesizes ideation solutions into a concise articulation of user wants and subsequent solutions.
Prototypes for new products and features as cheap and as fast as possible. Presents to teams (e.g., Design, Engineering) and/or customers to receive feedback and understand user needs.
Collaborates with and answers questions from Engineering to aid in successful design implementation, and performs question-and-answer forums (QAs) to help them ensure "pixel perfect " or detailed designs. Works with developers to iterate further on designs during implementation to ensure optimal designs. Develops an aptitude on limitations of what is implementable, and begins to challenge limitations.
Creates wireframes, journey maps, user jobs and scenarios, task flows, and personas in support of interaction designs for hardware and/or software-based experiences. Conceptualizes and delivers artifacts at various levels of fidelity. Participates in the development and enhancement of product user experiences via creation of interaction models and detailed designs for new and existing product features while serving as a liaison between users and products. Ensures that the designs of the products allow the user to complete the desired functions in the best possible manner.
Uses a prescribed design system (e.g., content templates, icons, form design, user-interface [UI] controls, navigation models, design trends). Shares learnings and collaborates with other designers to share education for team improvements.
Conveys work to peers and managers within their studio team(s) so that the audience understands. Sets context for stakeholders. Helps organize communication with cross-disciplinary teams inside and across all stages of design and development. Owns communication for what one is doing in a proactive way. Identifies which mode of communication should be used. Manages tonality, being respectful, inclusive, etc. Communicates for a project.
Recognizes and communicates the user needs to team members and recommends ideas to create a compelling narrative for the product. Explores new and interesting ways of telling stories (e.g., video illustrations, sound).
Facilitates fundamental tasks on projects with creative team members, program managers, and developers (e.g., the triad/quad) to define and iterate on new and existing product features. Participates on one or more studies at a time and collaborates, creates, and helps the team deliver product design results. Influences team members in support of product design impact. Leverages the work of others. Contributes to the success of others.
A typical day involves aligning priorities through focused stand-ups with designers, PMs, and engineers to ensure clear ownership. Designers refine user flows and wireframes for security and compliance scenarios, ensuring accessibility and enterprise-grade standards. They engage in deep work to create high-fidelity prototypes, validate interaction patterns, and incorporate feedback from usability studies and stakeholder reviews. Collaboration with the STL enables rapid decisions that balance speed and quality, leveraging shared design systems to maintain coherence.

Qualifications:

Computer aided design designer job in Milton, WA
Engineer/Drafter Cannon Companies is looking for qualified applicants to join our team as an Intermediate level Drafter. Our Drafters work closely with Project Managers to develop a plan for each job. Our company is striving to offer more to our customers from engineering, designing, planning and implementation of a project. This role will be the lead for our engineer/drafter team and the direct contact for our customers.
Location: Milton, WA
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor's in Engineering (or 4-years of related work experience)
* Minimum 3-years professional CAD experience in Civil/Structural/ or Architectural design.
* Proficient utilizing AutoCAD 2016 or later
* Possess excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solve
* Be willing to learn and able to adapt to changes
* Have a positive attitude and be highly motivated
* Be organized and have a strong attention to detail
* Must have leadership/supervisor and/or management experience
* Have a current valid Driver's License
* Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check
Primary Responsibilities:
* Assist design/engineering team in project support from initial concept, through final construction drawings.
* Create and prepare survey documents
* Create design and Traffic Control Plans for permit submittals
* As-Builting work of finished product
* Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment
Beneficial Skills:
* Knowledge of design programs other than AutoCAD is highly desired
* Telecom knowledge and/or certifications are a HUGE plus
* Ability to read and understand complex prints for fiber slicing and equipment installations
* Understanding basic civil engineering requirements and standards
* Registered Traffic Control Supervisor (for reviewing and stamping of TCP)
