Position Overview
C&S is seeking Project Designer / Architect with strong design, technical and creative skills to provide architectural design and project management services. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of professional experience, licensure preferred but not required, professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
In this role, you will work independently on architectural design projects and often coordinate project design efforts. In addition, you direct planning and creative-design concepts for projects, prepare presentation and design drawings and details.
Key responsibilities include:
Design & Technical Execution
Lead and coordinate architectural design solutions from concept through construction.
Provide professional consultation in planning, design, and coordination for complex architectural projects.
Apply advanced design knowledge to develop creative, functional, and sustainable solutions.
Practice Management
Collaborate with a team of design professionals to win and successfully execute projects.
Demonstrate strong ethics, teamwork, and client relationship management.
Project Management
Deliver projects that meet contractual obligations, schedule, and financial goals.
Ensure project quality and client satisfaction throughout all phases.
Programming & Analysis (Pre-Design)
Research and evaluate client requirements, building codes, zoning regulations, and site data.
Develop recommendations on project feasibility under the guidance of a licensed Architect.
Project Planning & Design (Schematic Design)
Layout building designs, review codes and regulations, and coordinate schematics with consultants.
Communicate design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Work closely with an Architect during this phase.
Project Development & Documentation
Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documents for permitting and bidding.
Produce comprehensive drawings and specifications, including:
Site, floor, and roof plans
Reflected ceiling plans
Elevations, sections, and details
Door, window, and finish schedules
Building envelope and material systems selections
Construction Administration & Evaluation
Participate in on-site construction administration, including meetings with clients, contractors, and building officials.
Support punch lists, RFIs, and project closeout activities under the supervision of an Architect.
Skills/Education/Experience
5-10 years of substantial experience developing architectural details and providing planning and design support during design development.
Experience gained through full-time employment under the supervision of a licensed Architect or Interior Designer.
Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program (Associate's, Bachelor of Architecture, or Master of Architecture).
Architectural licensure preferred.
Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits
$90,000 - $110,000/year*

We are seeking an accomplished Tooling Design Engineer for our growing demands. The Tooling Design Engineer develops 2d and 3d designs used to manufacture injection mold tooling, fixtures, and end of arm tooling. We are willing to consider experienced mold makers who are seeking a new opportunity in tooling design.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design production and prototype tooling and fixtures to specified design criteria considering: annual part volume, cycle time, quoted mold specifications, and tooling budgets.
Create 2D prints of highly critical dimensional areas as well as general tooling layout packets.
Present completed designs for review both internally as well as externally with customer present.
Assist sales and project engineering groups with design for manufacture issues and part improvements.
Perform mold CAE analysis consisting of filling, cooling, and warpage.

Qualifications
Required Competencies, Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years proven experience in Plastic Injection Molding
3D Modeling experience, preferably SolidWorks
Prior Mold Making, and/or Design experience
FEA analytical experience in Mold Flow, or SolidWorks Simulation is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Must have excellent organizational skills and a high level of follow through
Self-motivated
Ability to work with individuals at all levels
Education and Job Experience Requirements
Completion of skilled trades training applicable to plastics industry

Position Summary:
The successful candidate analyzes, researches and designs components or a system of components, new products or to improve existing products while reducing cost, enhancing performance or facilitating manufacturing operations. Designs products or systems of moderate scope and complexity for assigned programs using a variety of engineering principles from mechanical, materials science or other engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities:
Creates designs by analyzing product specifications, performance requirements, and existing manufacturing capabilities. Performs moderately complex design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of components, subsystems, and systems by applying engineering principals and established analytical tools. May develop detailed designs by using sketches and descriptive transfer functions provided by others.
Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specification requirements, cost defining recommendations, and change proposals.
Prepares or directs preparation of product layouts, detailed drawings, and assembly drawings by coordinating with designers or drafters, interpreting customer and functional requirements, and by using computer-aided design tools and following industry and drawing standards. Develops data and makes preliminary sketches, notes, and documentation in response to customer proposal requests.
Reviews drawings and assembly models to ensure clarity, completeness, form, fit, function and conformity to standards, procedures and specifications. Identifies design errors, omissions and other deficiencies and recommends revisions and improvements to engineers or other designers.

Define, plan and execute required sequence of tests and inspections.
Tabulate and summarize data and test and inspection results.
Direct, Coordinate, and Execute:
Investigative plan (ie, cut up, NDT, visual inspection, chemical / material analysis).
Review, document and summarize conclusions.
Establish with team and appropriate stakeholders any relevant technical course of actions required to address findings.
Support Design for Maintainability objectives.

Required Qualifications:
