Role Overview
Washington Shoe Company has an opening for a Footwear Designer with strong experience in sneakers, outdoor adventure footwear, and performance-driven design. Key Responsibilities
Research seasonal sneaker, outdoor, and adventure-footwear trends, including materials, technologies, and color stories; present findings through inspirational trend boards for Sales and Marketing.
Utilize product selling data and line plans to design 2-3 collections per year, including inline, catalog, and special make-up programs.
Create detailed spec tech packs, CADs, and design documentation for sample development.
Communicate with overseas factories and agents using clear visual and physical references to ensure design accuracy and execution.
Partner with sourcing and costing to ensure materials, constructions, and components meet cost and margin targets.

Mechanical Design Drafter
Knight Const. & Supply, Inc. (KCS) is seeking a motivated and innovative Mechanical/Structural Drafter with the attitude and skills to support heavy industrial construction projects through CAD 3D modeling and the generation of drawings using AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Microstation in accordance with contract requirements. The modeling and drawings are required to communicate everything from part details to the construction site model with the installation instruction set required to meet the customer's objectives and KCS quality and efficiency standards. This position is supported with the latest in computer technology and CAD software is maintained on subscription.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These duties are those typically performed in this position. Employee may not perform all the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties.
Complete requested technical modeling and drawing tasks using CAD software
Review and interpret internal, customer or vendor supplied technical drawings
Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge on CAD software and drafting standards

Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION

Computer aided design designer job in Bellevue, WA
We are seeking a dedicated AutoCAD Designer to create detailed module drawings for fast fulfillment stations tailored for rural areas, accommodating groceries and quick-moving items. In this role, you will design smaller stations ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 square feet and contribute to future initiatives focusing on grocery store delivery stations and other small stations for quick-moving items.
Responsibilities
* Work with Design Engineers to determine requirements for delivery station layouts and translate those requirements into detailed interior CAD drawings, ensuring a high level of accuracy and completeness.
* Collaborate with Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering (WWE), Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver a completed, approved design set.
* Review and engage with internal and external stakeholders regarding permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans related to design inquiries.
* Support the design quality control process, striving for accurate, zero-defect designs through participation in daily peer reviews, adherence to design checklists and standards, and soliciting constant feedback from Design Engineers.
* Deliver new designs, post-permit design updates, expansions, and retrofits to enhance associate and driver safety, quality, productivity, and capacity for delivery stations.
* Implement new template designs, process improvements, safety processes, and other enhancements into standard designs.
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting and design.
* Understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably in large warehouse or industrial environments.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and present to leadership and stakeholders.
* 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
* 3+ years of project coordination experience.
* 3+ years of drafting experience in facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural environments.
* Extensive operating experience in AutoCAD 2018 or later, preferably in Architecture, within a Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture capacity.
* Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.
