Our farm equipment dealership and farm are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with various tasks on the farm and in the dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining farm equipment, performing general farm duties, and assisting with customer service in the dealership. The General Laborer will work under the supervision of the farm and dealership managers.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, cultivators, planters, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
Assist with general farm duties, including planting, harvesting, weeding, and maintaining crops.
Assist with livestock care, including feeding and watering.
Assist with general maintenance of farm buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
Assist with customer service in the dealership, including loading customers' equipment purchases, pulling parts off of salvage equipment, and assisting customers with their purchases.
Assist with inventory management and stocking shelves in the dealership.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in farming or farm equipment dealerships is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment.
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
