Key Responsibilities (Multi-Craft - Electrical/Mechanical/Controls) Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of PLCs and control systems. Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, including ladder logic and control wiring issues. Read and interpret electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and automated machinery. Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and best practices. Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, measuring wear, and evaluating vibration/noise indicators. Respond to emergency or unplanned breakdowns to minimize downtime. Accurately use diagnostic, measurement, and electrical test equipment. Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs as needed. Install wiring and conduit for new and existing equipment (conveyors, controllers, packaging/corrugating machinery, etc.). Replace faulty components including relays, sensors, switches, motors, scanners, proximity/photo-eye devices, etc. Diagnose and repair electronic components such as printed circuit boards.
