Responsibilities
* Provide support for automation and controlengineering projects.
* Conduct on-site installation and start-up for control system upgrades.
* Design and implement custom control systems for dewatering and thickening process equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation and control systems.
Essential Skills
* At least six years of experience in industrial process automation and control equipment.
* Proficiency in PLC systems, HMI units, rotating equipment drive systems, instrumentation, and control components.
* Experience with motor controls, drives, electrical controls, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication.
* Proficient in using Rockwell PLC and HMI programming software.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Familiarity with industrial communication networks such as Modbus.
* Experience with other PLC platforms is a plus.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for automation and control systems.

Pay and Benefits

An Electrical Control Technician at Encore Wire will be primarily responsible for the safe rectification of machinery and equipment used in the various production plants and throughout the facility as directed by Supervision or Company dictated equipment priority.
