Knowledgeable in MS-Office Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field. 5+ years in automation engineering or industrial controls. Firsthand experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley), robotics, and SCADA systems. Proficiency in programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to work extended hours or varying shifts to include weekends and holidays. Must be willing to be on call to immediately respond to problems that arise with equipment and processes. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act), and NEC (National Electric Code), and NFPA (National Fire Protection Act). Knowledge of Distribution Control System (DCS) Programming. Knowledge of Electrical Engineering to understand system interactions, sizing of equipment, and fuses. Knowledge of HMI/SCADA Configuration as needed to complete required tasks and assignments. Knowledge of Project Management Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access required. Knowledge of Visual Basic required. Skill in using hands (i.e., screwdriver, hammer, etc.) and power tools (i.e., drill press, band saw).
