The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical system design and analysis, and client engagement. Responsibilities Evaluate and modify existing building electrical systems across various sectors. Conduct site surveys, make confident field-based decisions, and troubleshoot legacy systems. Prepare electrical drawings and specifications for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, telecommunications, and life safety systems. Perform power studies including short circuit analysis, coordination, and arc flash hazard assessments using ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or similar tools. Demonstrate deep knowledge of NEC, NYC Electrical Code, NFPA 70E, and energy codes such as IECC/ASHRAE 90.1. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Minimum of 4 years of electrical engineering experience in an MEP consulting environment. LEED AP or other sustainability certifications preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); experience with Revit and electrical modeling tools such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower is highly desirable.
