This function provides professional engineering expertise in assisting project manager and other engineering personnel in implementing management approved projects, supporting field maintenance crews and other related engineering activities. The Telecommunications function provides engineering, design, and field support for company telecommunication facilities and associated equipment. Leads and participates in teams to research and test telecommunication and related equipment. Develops requirements for technical specifications for procurement of telecommunications systems and equipment and provides engineering support in the award and administration of material contracts and project management of turnkey system contracts.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform simulation studies and document findings in formal reports.
Compile technical results in summary form such as tables, reports, and graphics to support engineering staff.
Develop and maintain databases related to engineering/scientific applications.
Conduct efficiency studies on various projects and provide recommendations.

Performs field research by traveling to remote sites to collect physical data.

Education & Corresponding Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering is required.
10 years of experience and knowledge of electronic engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to industrial control or SCADA systems is required.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
5 years of direct experience with designing, installing, or maintaining SCADA or industrial control systems.
5 years of experience with Ethernet or packet-based operational technology (OT) or industrial control system (ICS) networks.
Experience with industry standard SCADA protocols (ethernet or serial based): e.g., DNP3 and Modbus.
1 year of providing field support service.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required.

Job Summary: The position is an individual contributor focused on supporting the electronic machine controls for new product development in welding machines and portable machine tools. The qualified candidate will understand product requirements and collaborate with product development team members to design, test, and validate solutions that deliver value to the end user.
This role works within a cross functional product development team to ensure all product features and functionalities are defined, designed, documented, and validated in alignment with customer and market requirements. The candidate must maintain focus on project schedules and budgets while contributing to overall program success. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in embedded system design as outlined below:
Qualifications :
BSEE degree or equivalent degree in mathematics, sciences, or related field, with extensive proficiency in software engineering; MSEE preferred
Three to five years of experience in software design and programming in a manufacturing environment
Three to five years of experience in digital and analog circuitry design
Familiar with working in a project-oriented environment and capable of taking a project from concept to finished product as directed
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

Primary Responsibilities:
System Development and Design Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and implementation of embedded software from concept to final execution with a focus on meeting product requirements
Product Management Responsibilities
Responsible for the evolution of the product over its life cycle by developing new software releases, addressing customer issues, and enhancing product performance
Conduct life cycle engineering activities, including identifying and sourcing replacement components due to obsolescence
Product Development Responsibilities
Provide electrical and electronic design support for new products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the new product development process, from concept to completion
Define and support PCB design and layout activities
Develop modular design with a focus on future enhancements and capabilities, informed by an understanding of end-user and market needs
Customer Service Responsibilities
Work directly with the customers to troubleshoot and resolve product field performance issues, including all electrical and controls-related issues
Develop custom product solutions with existing embedded system designs, with a focus on meeting customer requirements
Secondary Responsibilities
Experience with PLCs, including programming, troubleshooting, and design.
