Represent the company at shop inspections and factory acceptance tests related to hydro-electric systems to ensure equipment in shop meets specifications and Industry codes. Direct contractors and hydro project staff at facilities to accomplish equipment repair and upgrades; ensuring electrical documents are updated to reflect field changes. Provide operations & maintenance with industry best practices that drive equipment operational reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. Manage project implementation and complete projects on time and on-budget. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, controls) to support project integration. Utilize equipment predictive data analysis to enhance equipment performance and recommend outage schedules for performing preventative maintenance. Develop electrical schematics and drawings to guide installation and maintenance of hydro-electric equipment and systems. What skills and experience you'll need: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a minimum of four years' work experience in a related field. Travel as required for project supervision and execution (~30%). Strong understanding of power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines. Experience with industrial electrical systems and maintenance practices.
