**Job Summary**
The Instrumentation & ControlsTechnician III, has completed level three competencies, disassembles, inspects, cleans, repairs, calibrates, tests, and performs periodic maintenance of field instruments, equipment systems and controls. The role, evaluates and determines necessary modification, performs complex repairs or removal of instruments or devices needing overhaul during scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting while performing unscheduled work.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customers with technical direction and support on the calibration, repair and operation of instrumentation and controls equipment.
+ Write accurate professional reports acting as single point of contact between Customers and GE concerning technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions
+ Implement conversions, modifications and upgrades to gas turbine controls systems including software upgrades and major retrofits
+ Troubleshoots, reinstalls, tests, evaluates, calibrates, and maintains instruments or devices upon completion of repairs.
+ Records and reports abnormal function or out of tolerance conditions of equipment and initiates corrective action and documentation
+ Read and interpret electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams
+ Use of hand tools to conduct general maintenance of customer equipment
+ Provide documents of daily record of inspection, maintenance activity, repair and other work performed within approved guidelines and procedures.
+ Ensure all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures
+ Travel extensively (internationally and domestically)
+ May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.
**Required Qualifications & Experience** :
+ 4+ years of experience without formal degree, in power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment installation/ commissioning.
+ Experienced level. Has successfully performed all requirements of the job multiple times.
+ Possess strong skills and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization.
+ 3+ years of experience in instrumentation, controls, installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing equipment or equivalent experience.
+ Must have appropriate license or certification where required by federal, state or local laws

Position Overview:
The Automation ControlsTechnician is responsible for maintaining instrumentation, control systems, and electronic communications in support of plant production, quality, GMP, and safety goals. The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic and background fixing electromechanical systems, providing production efficiency and performance metrics for entire production lines. Job Description

Maintain and repair the electrical and electronic aspects of winey equipment. Under the general direction of the Controls Lead, is responsible for the day to day maintenance of winey equipment, set up and production.
Essential Functions:

Perform simple, rudimentary tasks unsupervised
Assist in performing more difficult tasks under Supervision
Basic understanding of hand tools and hardware
Can complete simple PM work orders independently and complex PM Work Orders under guidance of controls Lead
Basic electrical functions to include: Bending conduit, threading pipe, running support hangars, pulling and land wire, changing light bulbs, safely using electrical equipment
Basic PLC Programing functions to include: going on line with a PLC, read drawings, identify PLC hardware and I/O devices, repairs under general supervision, preform VFD replacement and simple programming
Basic Instrumentation skills including: Reading P&ID drawings, understand signal processing, understand PID control, ability to identify process control devices
Demonstrates ability to follow all safety protocols (lock-out-tag-out, Personal Protective Equipment, etc.)
Safe use of company power lift equipment (man-lift, forklift, golf carts)
Hazardous waste awareness and environmental awareness
Basic computer skills / familiarity with MS Office
Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the SQF Food Safety & Quality Policy
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Experience Preferred: Minimum 2 years' experience in designing, programming, installing, or maintaining automated systems
Safely use electrical equipment
Basic electrical understanding and troubleshooting techniques
Understanding of basic ladder logic and messaging statements
Understanding of Control Reliability
Demonstrates a highly motivated work ethic

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. Where is the work:
* On-Site (5 days). Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office
What you will do:
* Responsible for commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
* Responsible for documenting point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements.
* Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location.

What you will bring:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls. Technical School or formal training is preferred.

* Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
