Responsibilities
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 3:30pm-12am, Will train on 1st shift for about 6 weeks 8am-4:30pm.
1 The Automation Systems Technician position is to be the in-house resource for the operation, maintenance and repair of the automated packaging systems.
2 To perform any and all tasks necessary to maximize efficiency and uptime of the automated packaging systems including robots, leak detectors and vision systems.
3 Sets up equipment for robot automation packing.
4 Set up and maintain leak detectors and vision systems.
5 Performs PM's on robots, leak detectors and vision systems.
6 Sets up new robot application for automated packaging.
7 Trouble shoots in-process automation application issues.
8 Supports and adheres to all BERRY safety policies.
9 Follows and supports all BERRY GMP's.
10 Repairs automation equipment as necessary.
11 Trains production personnel in the operation of automation equipment.
12 Performs general maintenance on automation equipment (robots, leak detectors and vision systems).
13 Recommends case counts and packaging sizing to allow effectiveness of automated packaging system.
14 Modifies software and programs as necessary for automated systems.
15 Setup, trouble shoot and debug new automation applications.
16 Advise set-up personnel on automation setups.
17 Maintains in-house expertise on automation issues.
3.18 Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be able to remember department and company policies and procedures, and recall multiple operations.
Must be able to analyze and prioritize projects, and have the ability to respond to instructions, and follow through in an independent manner.

Education and/or Equivalent Experience
Must have basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with decimals.
Five (5) years of Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent on the job training.
Basic electronic training in a formal atmosphere or equivalent on the job training.
Three (3) years of PLC experience.
Must be able to speak, write, and read effectively.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
Must be computer literate.

Job Summary:
The Calibration Specialist is responsible for overseeing calibration equipment and performing calibrations on critical measuring tools, systems, and equipment. This role also manages the documentation, organization, planning, and execution of the overall calibration program.

As an Electrical Controls Technician, you will be primarily responsible for performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT's) on electrical assemblies and systems. This role involves researching, developing, drafting, and testing electrical systems to ensure they meet specified requirements. We are seeking a candidate with a background in electrical or electronic engineering, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Direct experience within Project Management would be a plus, not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for electrical assemblies and systems.
Research and develop electrical assemblies and systems.
Draft detailed schematics and design documents.
Test and evaluate electrical systems for functionality and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical designs and systems.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred. Although the standard requirement is an Associate's degree, we are looking for candidates with a four-year degree.
Six months to one year of relevant experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
No PLC programming experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reads, and interprets electric generating plants P&ID's and CWD's to locate, identify, troubleshoot, and repair plant systems, interlocks, etc.
Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters electronic bridges, loop calibrators) and hand tools (i.e., drills, screwdrivers) as necessary to troubleshoot and maintain devices and systems for the power plant.
Works with apprentice I/C technicians and skill enhancement employees to teach proper, safe use of tools and maintenance procedures.
Completes all written and electronic records (i.e., work orders, calibration sheets, timecards, material requests) required to document the work in progress and as its completion.
Continually updates knowledge of plant systems and instrumentation.
Make decisions about how best to repair equipment and what resources (tools, time equipment) will be needed.
Employee must arrange own transportation to work location and may be reassigned to another location at the Company's discretion.
Minimum Job Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent education in instrumentation, pneumatics, engineering, or a related technical discipline. OR
Completion of an Instrumentation and Controls Apprentice Training Program. OR
Two (2) years' military experience in electronics repair and calibration may be substituted for formal training.
Three (3) years of industrial experience in electronics repair and calibration

Position Purpose:

What will you be doing?
