We are not looking for someone who repairs computers, but someone who has this experience from working in a manufacturing facility maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. The Electrical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving, repairing, and maintaining equipment in a timely manner.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
Install, assemble, and disassemble mechanical components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Fabricate parts as needed using various tools and equipment.
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks.
Maintain accurate records of work performed using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Install, repair and troubleshoot gensets from 1 kw to 205kw+ in both single and three phase systems.
Frequent use of multimeter/amp clamps for troubleshooting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be willing to learn in the first 12 months:
Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and electrical components.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with logic controllers and industrial automation systems; Mitsubishi, Melsec logic and Rockwell Automation.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Knowledge of shorepower, residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems.

As an independent division within Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Inc., ControlTech Automation (CTA), is a control panel integrator and fabricator for process, packaging, utility, and other industries. CTA is based in St. Louis and specializes in control panels for system integrators and production facilities located throughout the United States.
