Position Summary:
The Senior Business Intelligence Engineering serves as a technical lead and ensures the delivery of high-quality data solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Serves as a technical lead and mentor a team of BI Engineers in the development and maintenance of BI solutions.

Designs and implements complex data pipelines and data models in cloud based data platforms like Snowflake and on-premises environments like MSSQL.
Collaborates with Data Engineering to define and enforce data quality standards.

Leads the development and implementation of BI best practices and standards. Contribute to data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data security policies.
Responsive to emails and calls/texts within a reasonable amount of time.

Responds to industrial AMR (Automated Meter Reading) system dropped/disconnected calls, making repairs to AMR or telecommunication equipment as required.
Plans, monitors and performs preventative maintenance as determined and scheduled during testing. Tracks maintenance schedules in the Work Management System (WMS).
Performs emergency response maintenance as needed, conducting on-site troubleshooting and corrective measures to gas measurement equipment.
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the communication link between field devices and corporate database servers.
Constructs new facilities and installs modifications to existing facilities according to PGS Engineering designs and instructions. Works with division and corporate personnel in the installation of electrical and electronic interfaces for SCADA, telemetry, electronic measurement, chromatograph and odorization systems. Replaces field electronic equipment to insure effective integration.
Completes all required calibration documentation utilizing the work management system and ensures procedures follow accepted engineering principles and company policies and procedures.
Ensures all field facilities related to gas distribution and transmission pipelines comply with Federal, State and local electrical codes.
Works closely with and monitors the work performed by outside contractors, power and telephone utilities.

Qualifications
