The applicant should also be experienced in erecting, disassemble, and working with pile driving equipment such as leads, hammers, powerpacks, templates and work trestles. Core Responsibilities Pile Operation and Equipment Functions Erecting, disassembling, and working with and around pile equipment Preparation, aligning, plumbing, setting, testing of piling Must be able to assist in the erection and dismantle of lattice boom cranes Assist in the training of less experienced Crew members. Guide piles during driving to maintain alignment and plumbness. Monitor hammer strikes and report any irregularities. Report any deviations or obstructions encountered. Support testing procedures (e.g., PDA or static load tests). Rigging, Lifting, and Material Handling Assist and coordinate with Crane Operator in safe rigging and Heavy Lift protocols Communicate through standard crane hand signals for safe operations Inspect and maintain rigging equipment and materials Maintain and inspect tools and machinery for safe operation.
