Designs, develops, engineers and implements solutions to MLS requirements. Responsible for the implementation and development of the MLS. Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena. Performs risk analyses which also includes risk assessment. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff. Provides technical support for secure software development and integration tasks, including reviewing work products for correctness and adhering to the design concept and to user standards. Knowledgeable of Security/Information Assurance (IA) products such as PKI, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Analyzes and recommends resolution of security/IA problems based on knowledge of the major IA products and services, an understanding of their limitations, and knowledge of the IA disciplines. Interface with system admins, engineers, and security managers to ensure network components meet all accreditation and operational security requirements under the DoDI 8140.03 framework. Implement cybersecurity requirements aligned to overall architecture. Conduct vulnerability scanning and analysis of systems and tools. Formulates and implements security certification methods for COMPMOD TOs. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff Qualifications: Required: US citizen with Top Secret clearance, must be SCI eligible Technical bachelor's degree and 5 years of applicable experience (High School diploma or associate degree plus 7 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer for large, complex programs/systems may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree) DoDI 8140.03 IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Desired: Active TS/SCI clearance Experience working on DoD programs Prior work experience in cyber security design - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
