ERM is hiring Right of Way (ROW) Agents in Central and Eastern Colorado to support pipeline and electric transmission project efforts. ROW Agents will be responsible for the acquisition of land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits, and other documents necessary for the construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities. This is a full-time (40 hours a week), limited-term role with a duration of 12 months, extendable. Physical demands required for the successful performance of this job include standing and/or walking for long hours in a day on uneven and steep terrain, and possibly during variable weather conditions. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct diverse and complex negotiations with landowners (or their designees). * Work on the settlement of complex damage claims with landowners (or their designees) relative to property damage caused or created during the construction. * Search courthouse and other records to determine present property ownership(s) and the extent of interest therein. * Advise and assist in establishing a range of fair market values to be used in the acquisition of land and land rights. * Draft and/or supervise the preparation of documents for rights of entry, damage claims, contracts, easements, licenses, leases, permits, options to purchase and other documents as may be necessary to acquire adequate rights for the project. * Compliance with corporate health and safety policies. * Perform other duties as assigned or required. Provide advice on different EHS PS software systems in response to specific data, organizational and operational requirements. * Interact with clients on a routine basis to gather requirements and develop a full understanding of various business scenarios in order to assist with the development of appropriate proposals. * Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SAP methodology, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. * Engage in all life cycle stages of project execution; provide support and enhancement to SAP platforms and solutions as required to meet the overall business objectives of clients. * Analyze user requirements, prepare requirements document, as-is & to-be processes and identify gaps. * Prepare for and lead project Blueprinting sessions with customer stakeholders to gather and document effective business requirements and translates requirements into functional and technical design specification documents. * Design processes to meet requirements and prepare functional specifications. * Facilitate management of change issues with the adoption of new information systems. * Collaborate with clients to develop/refine implementation strategy and on-going testing needs. * Prepare test plans, conduct testing validation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). * Implement SAP EHS Product Compliance software solutions such as SAP for clients worldwide. We envision this individual being based in either our Elko, Salt Lake City, Scottsdale, or Denver office though location is somewhat flexible. What You'll Bring Required * Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (or equivalent). * 4+ years of professional experience in mining or metals, with site experience preferred. * Prior experience working at and on mine sites. * Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance. * Exceptional communication skills-able to distill complex concepts for executives and operators alike. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed. Preferred * Fluency in Spanish or French, both written and spoken. * Familiarity with Responsible Mining Standards (IRMA, TSM, ASI, Copper Mark, etc.). Key Responsibilities * Support mining initiatives across the project lifecycle, focusing on mine closure plans, remediation strategies, and project reviews. * Design and implement programs, policies, and standards in collaboration with ERM subject matter experts. * Facilitate the formulation and implementation of mine closure and reclamation strategies, as well as related initiatives. * Prepare CEQA/NEPA documents, ESA Biological Assessments, and regulatory permits. * Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements. * Develop proposals, scopes, and cost estimates; contribute to business development efforts. * Manage scope, budget, and schedule expectations while delivering high-quality outputs. * Build strong client relationships and foster collaboration within ERM teams. * Analyze complex data and trends, producing clear executive summaries. * Promote a culture of safety, excellence, and innovation. For the Managing Consultant, Science or Engineering, Mining position, the anticipated annual base pay is $80,800-$118,233 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
