Agency Respite Care Providers are responsible for providing non-medical personal care, assistance and companionship for clients who require supervision for reason of developmental disabilities.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with clients' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Provide hands-on and/or stand-by assistance, as needed, with client transfers and safe ambulation (includes assistance with the proper use of ambulation aids).
Grooming and Hygiene- Provides client hands-on and/or stand-by assistance with general hygiene and other grooming activities (washing hands & face, etc.).
Meal Preparation - Assist with preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or snacks.
Dressing- Provides hands-on and/or stand-by assistance with changes of client's clothing as needed.
Toileting- Assist client on/off toilet or commode; changing diapers/briefs; and ensuring cleanliness as needed.
Engages client in appropriate conversations (caregiver is to avoid personal disclosures about self, and
discussions about client's family).
If parents request, teach, train and encourage client to perform tasks and learn skills as directed.
Entertain client by reading newspapers or books, playing memory games, completing puzzles, etc.
Follow parent instructions to work and deal with client's behavioral needs, i.e. re-direction, avoidance, withdrawal, and/or aggression.
Compliance with agency policies related to all areas of privacy and confidentiality, including HIPAA laws.

Contribute to organizing the classroom according to developmental levels and individual needs of infants and toddlers: the development of trust and emotional security; opportunities to explore a variety of sensory and motor experiences; opportunities for the development of self-awareness, autonomy, and self-expression; and opportunities for gross and fine motor development.
Ensure infant and toddler classrooms are home like, safe, sanitary, and free of clutter. Organize the classroom in rudimentary learning centers that are well defined, rotating materials routinely to create a stimulating environment. Provide for diaper changing and toilet training functions in the classroom in a safe, sanitary and developmentally appropriate manner.
Promote the development of secure relationships with infants and toddlers assigned by assuring primary and continuity of care. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Within the team structure, the Provider Liaison supports providers and works with other departments to ensure providers eligibility, enrollment, and documentation maintenance related to CCFA programs comply with county and state guidelines. The position includes the following responsibilities:
Provider Processing (50%)
* Receive and process documentation to determine provider eligibility for CCFA childcare programs. Review documentation for accuracy and approve or deny within the specified timeframe. Follow up for missing or incomplete documentation, including non-submission of PPRs or attendance records.
* Process Trustline applications and letters to maintain compliance with county and state guidelines.
* Process providers to receive electronic childcare payments via pay cards or direct deposit.
Customer Service (30%)
* Serve as the primary contact to assigned providers and support providers via walk-in, phone, and email while ensuring all activities are logged in NoHo.
* Research customer concerns, follow customer services guidelines, and/or escalate situations as appropriate to the supervisor to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Data Entry and Administration (20%)
* Data enter provider non-operational days, days/hours of operation, and absence policies accurately to ensure accuracy of provider payments.
* Review data entered information across multiple databases (NoHo CARE, R&R NoHo, Laserfiche, Provider Portal, Connect, and IRS TIN) to ensure data matches and produces accurate monthly and ad hoc reports (including, the ISD Zip codes, QRIS, and Red Flag reports)
Job Specifications
Minimum Required
* Education / Experience:
* Associate's degree in the field of Child Development, Social Work, Family Studies, or related field;
or High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant work experience
* Technical Requirements - List specifics:
* Demonstrated proficiency and experience with Windows-based programs and data entry.
* Travel: Some travel/business related driving required; Staff may choose any mode of transportation (driving, walking, bicycling, carpooling, etc.) to arrive to and depart from the location where attendance is required. Should a staff member choose to drive, the staff member must become an approved driver with CCRC prior to driving on behalf of CCRC. Approved drivers driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver's License and receiving DMV clearance.
* Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule. Regular Full-time schedule; and overtime hours may be required at times.
* Work environment: Office work environment; ambient temperature, moderate noise levels, indoor.

Conduct ABA therapy sessions under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a behavior consultant
Implement behavior intervention plans to target skill development and behavior reduction goals

Experience in a veterinary, grooming, or boarding facility is preferred, but we are willing to train the right animal person. A positive attitude, excellent pet handling skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential.
This is a 24 hour, seven day a week facility. Team members must be comfortable working in a fast paced, hands on environment and following established care and safety protocols.
Scheduling and Availability
Shift availability may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights. Example shifts include 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Schedules will vary based on facility needs and staff availability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Supervises and interacts with all pets inside the facility and during yard rotations
Feeds, waters, and administers medications to boarding and resident animals per company procedures and client or veterinary instructions
Cleans and disinfects pet rooms, walls, floors, food and water containers
Maintains laundry, bedding, and dishes
Supervises pets during outside playtime
Takes daily photographs for client updates
Performs yard work including waste removal and water cleanup
Maintains overall cleanliness of the facility including vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitation
Greets clients during drop off and pick up and obtains care information as needed
Answers phones, responds to messages, and assists with reservations when assigned
Assists groomers with bathing and brushing pets as needed
Feeds and waters birds according to schedules and cleans cages and dishes when needed
Provides general, loving care for all pets receiving boarding or grooming services
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and occasionally sit. The employee frequently stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls and must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation and Employment Status
Positions are W2 and hourly. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Client tips are generous and typically add an additional $2 to $3 per hour, issued with the weekly paycheck.
Health insurance, vacation, and 401k benefits are available for full time staff. Part time staff may be eligible for additional shifts as availability allows.
