Job Purpose:
The Pinnacle Propane Express truck driver provides propane cylinder delivery to customers in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining awareness of customer satisfaction and public safety.
Description of Essential Duties:
Load trucks with propane cylinders
Deliver propane cylinders to assigned route
Routes are designed to sell or exchange 300-550 tanks a day, it is physically demanding
Properly fill out driver logs and daily paperwork and mail paperwork to the main office daily
Complete assigned routes in a logical sequence ensuring all delivery times are met and working at a steady pace while delivering the propane cylinders, maintaining safety.
Perform all truck maintenance, on a daily basis, verify all safety supplies are on the truck, keep inside and outside of truck clean and orderly, and notify manager of any issues that need to be fixed.
Maintain positive friendly working relationships with all customers, meeting delivery window time frames and dependable and reliable expectations.

* Reports all mechanical deficiencies, traffic violations, or accidents, promptly.
* Arranges for and ensures completion of routine maintenance of bus (e.g., oil change); transporting the bus to and from maintenance and/or repair facilities.

* Observes and tracks route timing, such as total time en-route, time between stops, loading and unloading times or any other requested information for the purpose of establishing route efficiency, as requested.

* Follows procedures to ensure that no child is left alone on bus without adult supervision at any time, and that all children have departed bus at the end of all bus routes (morning, evening and during field trips or other special trips).
* Inventories bus emergency and first aid supplies and equipment; reports needs to the Director.
* Prepares aides and children for bus drills and ensures bus evacuation drills are held as required.
* In case of accidents/emergencies, evacuates children according to written and practiced procedures, ensures that medical emergency procedures are followed; completes a written report as required.

Responsibilities:
Operate heavy-duty trucks within Silsbee, TX, US to collect household waste in residential areas.
Work side by side with another driver.
Ensure the safe transport of waste to disposal sites within legal limits when trucks reach full capacity.
Navigate through various locations like busy streets, driveways, alleys, and parking lots while driving the vehicles.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on assigned trucks and document checks using the standard DVIR.
Immediately communicate any unsafe situations or service-related issues to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
Participate in scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required.
Collaborate with the Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Route Manager promptly.
Inform the Route Manager or Dispatch about service interruptions like closed streets, heavy receptacles, or safety hazards.
Relay customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager, ensuring all receptacles are emptied completely, leaving locations clean.
Follow assigned routes and complete end-of-day documentation and the check-out process.
Assist other drivers as needed to meet customer needs based on the schedule provided by the Route Manager or Dispatch.

Qualifications:
Education is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
Candidates should possess recent experience of at least one year in driving a vehicle with a CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
Legal eligibility to work in the United States is a must for applicants.

Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
• Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to drive safely.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
