Required Qualifications:
• Registered DentalAssistant (RDA) license in the state of employment
• Radiology certification as required by state law
• BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire)
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking
• Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness
• Basic computer proficiency
• A high school diploma or equivalent

• DAANCE certification is desirable

How You'll Make a Difference
As an Endodontist DentalAssistant, you will help support the clinical needs of the practice's patients and doctors. You will assist the Specialist chair-side, as needed, during treatment procedures. Travel to nearby offices to support patient care
Take dental X-rays
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
Perform various office tasks as necessary
Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification

Understands company's timekeeping system and enters hours worked and PTO appropriately and timely; gains pre-approval from Office Manager for overtime; notifies Office Manager immediately of discrepancy in hours paid through payroll
Completes continuing education as required by office; monitors expiration of certifications making sure not to allow them to expire
Maintains facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA; follow required OSHA and Workers' Compensation safety procedures and processes as necessary
Travels as necessary for business related functions and training
Nonessential Functions:
Performs additional tasks as necessary or assigned to achieve office/company goals
