Responsibilities:
Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned
Make impressions of patients' teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly
Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible
Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride
Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure
