Report machine malfunctions and ensure good quality product. Performs work under shift supervisor with final approval by the production manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to learn and operator all six (6) Thermoformers within defined specification without assistance. Recognize heating/cooling problems on all machines and report any issues immediately. Start up and shut down all Thermoformers unassisted. Recognize and perform adjustments as needed without assistance. Check oilers on trim press and Thermoformers at shift start and fill as needed. Perform roll change with minimal scrap. Operate micro phaser and ballerina control panels to obtain readings and make adjustments as needed. Read instrumentation gauges to record "heat reading" on each machine. Perform quality checks (burning, cold cracking and registration) per roll. Learn proper packaging (boxes, poly bags) for each product type. Stock packaging material (boxes, poly bags, foam rolls) at beginning of production run. Produce product with correct width, gauge, and weight. Able to use a fire extinguisher. Understand and accurately complete required paperwork: first piece inspection, production log. Get assistance to resolve any issues to get machine back in operation. Well rounded knowledge of quality of all products. Housekeeping, must keep all areas free of debris. Ability to recognize and identify problems with machines and/or material via collection of data and interpretation of that data, Ability to apply troubleshooting techniques to issues as they arise and seek help when needed. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to differentiate between "good" and "bad" quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Must be able to complete trailer inspections reports for all assigned loads per plant sanitation standards. 2.Operate PIT equipment per OSHA specifications, including daily inspections, 50-pound dock plate secured, trailer wheels are chocked, etc. 3.Complete all assigned load sheets (Shipping orders) accurately and neatly via. use of Barcode scanners. -Accurately pull correct product (including color) and case count requested -Ensure all product pulled had appropriate “labels” prior to loading in trailer -Cases are stacked in trailer per trailer configuration requirements and trailer is full -Accurately Document all product pulled, including bay locations, and loaded onto trailer -Document all variations from original shipping order on load sheets to ensure accuracy in Oracle 4.Notify Warehouse Manager/ Assistant of any “damaged” cases. 5.Perform Bay Consolidations per Warehouse requirements to include: -Reorganization of similar product into one location-Restacking of product within a bay due to leaning or falling product -To correct Oracle inventory system data 6.Participate on Annual Physical Inventory Process each year. 7.Assist truck drivers to include: -Trailer location -Location of truck driver's restrooms and vending area -Paperwork pickup 8.Perform Housekeeping functions (including your assigned aisle) necessary to keep Warehouse neat and organized on daily basis. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The role of a bird-moving crewmember will be to fulfill the needs of bird moving during the week. He or she will transport birds from Rose Acre facilities, and thoroughly clean and disinfect all equipment as necessary. Although birds need to be moved quickly and efficiently, the bird mover must always keep the well-being of the birds in mind to reduce mortality. Finally, the bird mover will inform the supervisor of his or her crew of any problems with broken water lines, floor or feed troughs as soon as possible. All duties are to be performed in an exemplary and professional manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for abiding by all of the general responsibilities listed as a bird-moving crewmember. * Responsible for checking with the crew supervisor on the time and location for the following day's moving schedule. Due to frequent changes, the time and location of moving may change frequently. * Must ensure that all spent hens or pullets being moved are loaded into carts according to preset counts. * Must use caution when loading and unloading bird carts so as not to damage cage or house equipment. * Must count all birds accurately, whether it is loading a cart or filling a cage, disciplinary actions, including bonus pay deductions for inaccurate counts. * Responsible for carefully handling each bird to reduce stress and injury. Pullets should be grabbed with one hand by one or both legs, with the other hand supporting the breast area. When handling spent hens, in addition to the aforementioned method, grabbing them by the base of both wings is also acceptable. Rough handling of birds will result in disciplinary action being taken * Responsible for ensuring that all clothing worn to work each day, including shoes, have been properly disinfected. More detailed information from the crew supervisor regarding bio-security is available, but proper care should be taken to prevent diseases from being spread. * Responsible for familiarizing self with all Rose Acre Employee Handbook policies. * Responsible for familiarizing self with Rose Acre Farms Biosecurity Program policies.
