A Creative Content Designer combines marketing and graphic design to create the visual materials that represent all brands within the Convivial Brands umbrella. This individual develops, designs and executes creative, branded assets for multi-channel integrated brand and marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, catalog, print, photo, video, event design and other assets as needed. Illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. RID+I seeks a dynamic faculty member to teach courses in design foundations with a focus on materials, fabrication, and craft. Job Title: Solidworks DesignerJob Description The Designer will play a key role in supporting the development of shelving elevation assemblies using Solidworks. These assemblies are designed for warehouse and backroom storage in major retail environments. This position is integral to the organization's implementation of Solidworks PDM and will involve regular progress reporting and collaboration with engineering leadership. Responsibilities + Interpret and review 2D elevation layouts in AutoCAD. + Design shelving elevations in Solidworks based on provided layouts. + Validate designs for accuracy, including model integrity and Bill of Materials (BOM) verification. + Collaborate with the Lead Engineer to support the integration of assemblies into Solidworks PDM. + Provide weekly progress updates, including the number of assemblies completed and remaining. + Offer support and guidance to the design team on Solidworks best practices and training as needed. The facility houses 120 people, and there may be opportunities to collaborate with Product Managers and the CAD team in the future. The Associate Designer I supports the material management and selection process for the interior modifications projects under the guidance of the Lead Designer(s). This position works with the design group, sales, marketing, engineering, production and the client to support, create and finalize the refurbishment of aircraft interiors. This position may also be responsible for the management of partial soft goods refurbishment. Base Pay This role has a minimum base pay from $15.24 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.
