THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for a Diesel and Gas Engine Service Technician to join our growing operations at our New Iberia, Louisiana location.

The person in this role will be responsible service and repairs of marine engines & generators.
YEARLY POTENTIAL
$60,000 - $120,000 yearly
The yearly range indicated is representative of the hourly rate, including typical overtime. This range is based on a technician's experience, skills, education and training. For technicians, overtime is typically calculated on a daily basis after 8 hours worked.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Diagnose, inspect, disassemble, assemble, install, and repair Caterpillar power systems equipment and engine components
Prepare company and customer inspection appraisals reports and order replacement parts
Prepare, inspect, operate marine engines & generators to meet customer expectations

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED equivalent
REQUIRED: Technical training of marine engines
REQUIRED: Valid U.S. Driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record; Transportation Worker ID Card (TWIC) preferred. Water Survival Training preferred.
HIGHLY PREFERRED: Prior experience with Caterpillar engines; MSHA certification is helpful

JOB SUMMARY: Shop Technician is responsible for overseeing all activity in the installation shop.
