REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years' experience in a related field. * Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties. * Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months. * This position follows regulations issued by the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Submit daily paperwork promptly, including timecards and maintenance reports with customer signatures. Maintain open communication with dispatchers and the service office, updating them on job status and availability for new assignments. Identify jobs that should be sent to our shop for repair, providing valuable recommendations based on complexity or safety reasons. Develop and nurture relationships with territory sales representatives, keeping them informed of potential sales opportunities. Always uphold safety rules and policies, ensuring a secure working environment. Essential Skills and Experience: Very good skills in repairing powered industrial equipment. Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Time management expertise to handle multiple priorities. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with laptop fundamentals. Ownership of necessary tools for repairs, per our recommended tool list. Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Certification to operate material handling equipment. Commitment to the company's vision and mission. Physical demands: Employee frequently lifts up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds, and rarely up to 100 pounds. Employee is required to frequently stand, recline (lying on back), kneel, walk, twist, reach, and use feet to repair and operate machinery.
