The Certified Automotive Diesel Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in customer and dealership-owned vehicles. This role requires advanced technical skills, strong diagnostic capabilities, and adherence to manufacturer and dealership standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Certification as a Diesel Technician (e.g., OEM diesel certification, ASE Diesel Certifications). Minimum 2 years of hands-on diesel repair experience. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to operate dealership-required equipment, diagnostic software, and specialty tools. Master-level certification in diesel systems. Experience working in a dealership environment. CDL is a plus but not required. Under the guidance of shop leadership, conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on both Diesel and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles to maintain GFL's fleet in safe and continuous "road ready" condition.
