Job Description
We are always looking for talented, self-motivated individuals to join our team at McDonald KIA. Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to fill the role of Automotive Technician. A qualified individual will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are in top shape by diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
Responsibilities
As an Automotive Technician, you will:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles with advanced systems.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and more.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to pinpoint and resolve problems efficiently.
Communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
Mentor and support junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and customer expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
State Certifications are a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and repair manuals.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions.
