A Successful HDD Operator is specially trained and has expertise in locating for horizontal/directional drill rigs and product support equipment. Position Summary
The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for operating Hydrovac trucks to safely and efficiently excavate soil and expose underground utilities using high-pressure water and vacuum systems. This role supports field operations by using pressurized water and a vacuum system to expose underground utilities and structures, ensuring safety and minimal disruption. Locate utilities with GPR scanning equipment as required.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance of equipment
Complete required logs and reports to document work performed and site conditions
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area
Communicate with site supervisors, team members, and vendors to coordinate tasks
Participate in job hazard analysis (JHA), site-specific safety plans, and morning action planning (MAP)
