ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Safely operate a company flatbed truck in compliance with all DOT, state, and local traffic laws while maintaining a clean driving record.
Perform daily vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the safe operation of assigned vehicles.
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and products using proper safety procedures and equipment.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Read and interpret schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine materials to be moved or distributed.
Accurately pick, pack, stage, and deliver customer orders.
Stock, organize, and rotate inventory in warehouse storage locations according to company procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory records by marking, counting, weighing, and recording materials received or distributed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced yard and delivery environment.
Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials up to required weight limits.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B in the State of Hawaii , with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA safety standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse and delivery environment while managing multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control.
Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials up to required weight limits.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
