We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Licensed Electrician to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of a variety of HVAC and electrical systems, including chillers, cooling towers, CRAH units, air handlers, VAVs, FTBs, and related plant equipment. Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and electrical equipment in plant and office environments.
Perform predictive, preventive, and proactive electrical maintenance and analysis.

What the Role Involves:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing and servicing high-voltage electrical power and circuits in supermarkets, convenience stores, and food service establishments.
Perform duties as a team technician for the installation and service of commercial electrical systems.
Document and install conduits that are necessary to facilitate refrigeration and building energy management conversions and upgrades, along with refrigeration high voltage electrical systems.
Work with systems involving control voltage signals and power devices ranging from 2-480 VAC.
Read, understand, and interpret electrical blueprints and ladder logic type diagrams.
Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems.
Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
Install safety and distribution components related to electrical circuits.
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged electrical circuits.
Oversee all electrical installations and lead a small crew.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED (preferred)
Valid State Driver's License
5+ years electrical experience in commercial installation/supermarket refrigeration products and whole store remodels
The Ideal Candidate:
Willingness and ability to travel 55% to 95% of the time.
Ability to use all electrical hand and power tools. Uses standard hand tools, power tools, as well as specific instruments and specialty tools
Basic computer skills; ability to use laptop and smart phone
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and a professional attitude
Ability to perform the job in a safe manner
Understands Refrigeration/ HVAC control wiring and electrical
Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Adhere to Hillphoenix safety program, policies, and procedures
Must completely fill out and submit all job required work orders, forms, and documents

Qualifications
Must possess competence in the following areas in order to perform this role in a safe, productive and effective manner:
Interprets drawings, sketches, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems
Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations
Installs control and distribution apparatus' and fastens in place
Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components
Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment
Work with medium and low voltage systems
Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems
Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical tools
Responsibilities
