We are a growing, locally based company seeking skilled professionals to support production operations and equipment maintenance. This dual-role position involves operating manufacturing processes and performing mechanical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and equipment. The job title and pay will be based on experience. Shift Schedule: Current: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Extended hours and/or night shifts may be required as production expands. Key Responsibilities: Process Operation (70% of Role) Operate and monitor machinery for manufacturing natural vitamin E and related products. Set up and adjust equipment conditions based on testing feedback. Monitor process parameters, such as flow rates, temperature, and pressure. Perform controlled shutdowns, cleaning, and basic repairs of equipment. Follow cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety regulations. Document production activities, maintain records, and update process flow diagrams. Collaborate with team members to foster a productive and cooperative work environment. Packaging, Staging, and Warehousing (20% of role) Assist with packaging finished products according to specifications. Prepare and stage products for storage or shipment. Label, palletize, and wrap shipments to meet quality and safety standards. Move materials and finished products to appropriate warehouse locations. Maintain accurate inventory records and follow warehouse procedures. Mechanical Maintenance (10% of Role) Perform maintenance and minor repairs on production-related systems and equipment, including: Chillers Vacuum pumps Liquid sanitary process pumps Conduct routine inspections, adjustments, and cleaning of mechanical equipment. Recommend additional repairs or equipment upgrades as needed. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and assist with ordering. Operate forklifts (training and certification provided). The CNC Electrician/Installer will assist in assembling electrical panels and enclosures that comprise our CNC Retrofit Packages. The individual will utilize skills including, but not limited to, cutting, drilling, wiring, and installing various components on panels and electrical enclosures. Qualified individuals must demonstrate knowledge of reading electrical prints, panel building assembly, and control wiring of components such as power circuits, VFDs, PLCs, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and contactors. The candidate will be expected to route and bundle wiring and cables neatly. The individual should be able to cut, strip, solder, label, and terminate various wire sizes. Once the CNC system fabrication work is complete and tested, the CNC Electrician/Installer will be responsible for breaking down and packaging the components for transport, with guidance from our Shipping Coordinator.Jobsite (field installation) duties will include the removal of existing Electrical Cabinet and/or electrical components, as well as the installation and wiring of the CNC retrofit package. Requirements Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in automotive, diesel, or GSE maintenance preferred. * Minimum 2+ years of experience in GSE maintenance, diesel engine repair, or a related field. * Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components. * Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of ground support equipment. * Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record. * Ability to obtain and maintain an airport SIDA badge. * Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions. * Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, squat, stand, and work in confined spaces. * Must pass all pre-employment background checks and drug screening. Education & Certifications * High school diploma or GED required. * Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred. Job description: This is an entry level position in the maintenance mechanic department. The right candidate must have a basic understanding of mechanical principals, theory and language. This role will be responsible for performing both mechanical and preventative maintenance repairs keeping machinery and mechanical equipment in good working order.
