Responsibilities Test and inspect every inch of fire hose by: Removing all hose from fire apparatus and racks Performing required recordings and tests Repacking hoses to the proper place Qualifications Reliable transportation to work Be able to pass a drug test and background check Hard working and very dependable Working Conditions Work is Monday-Friday and occasionally Saturday Typical week consists of 40+ hours (Average of 50 hours/week) Occasional work day can be 12+ hours; Shift is not over until job is completed Daily pick-up is 7:30 am at Park and Ride in Eatontown, NJ Occasional work trip out of state required for up to 1 week (hotel and food provided by company) Steel toe work boots required and work shirts supplied by company Physical Requirements Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to walk and bend over.
