What You Will Do:
Ensure that mechanical maintenance work is performed in compliance with regulations and company O&M procedure requirements.
Be aware of and follow Company safety and work policies.
Perform emergency response first responder duties.
Complete all safety training.
Complete all required technical training.
Complete all required Operator Qualified (OQ) training and certifications.
Develop and complete equipment lock-outs.
Perform preventative and repair maintenance on all aspects of pipeline associated equipment with the intent to operate the line at optimum efficiency.
Use maintenance software to document maintenance work.
Collaborate with the Technical Supervisor, other Electrical Technicians, and Mechanical Technicians, to plan, schedule, and complete maintenance work efficiently and effectively.
Maintain facility records and update drawings as required.
Assist Electrical Technicians as required.
Assist project teams with construction projects as assigned: design reviews, hazard assessments, pre-bid tours, pre-construction meetings, mechanical equipment installation, and equipment commissioning.
Communicate with and maintain a positive working relationship with the Control Center operators, Operations and Maintenance personnel, and other internal and external partners.
Follow all DOT rules and regulations as they apply to pipeline operations.
Who You Are:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 to 2 years of directly relevant training and experience
Excellent trouble shooting ability
Valid driver's license & good driving record
Must live (or relocate) within 25 miles of the reporting location
Preferred:
Technical or vocational degree/certificate
Experience in maintenance of crude oil pipeline, tank farm or delivery facilities
Working Conditions:
Available for emergency call via mobile phone, or home phone 24 hours a day.
Periodically designated as on-call technician for a week at a time.
75% field mechanical maintenance work and 25% field office work.
Occasional work in extreme cold and extreme heat.
Must be able to physically perform heavy manual work including climbing storage tanks and lifting up to 50lbs.
Work often required in high noise level areas and areas where vapor from crude oil and solvents may be present.
Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record
Overnight travel of 10-40 days per year may be required.
Primarily field oriented (outdoor) with specific office (indoor) functions for training, meetings and documentation of required tasks, dictated by Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply.
Physical Requirements:

Remotely troubleshoot running customer electrical control systems through remote access and related controls software such as Rockwell Automation Studio 5000.
Support onsite technicians in their ability to troubleshoot customer systems through remote access.
Work with a development team to learn new control designs prior to being installed in the field.
Provide support for new designs in testing new cabinets prior to installation.
Follow company processes and controls work level instructions for maintaining good software revision control and programming styles.
Controlled code incident management with minimal impact to customer's production.
Qualifications:

This opportunity will consist of troubleshooting, repairing, and installing new/used equipment at our customers facilities throughout the United States and Mexico. Previous experience with PLC, HMIs and Wintriss components is required.
Position Responsibilities:
Layout, assemble and wire a control panel complete
Layout and bend conduit in consistent straight and contour lines
Completely wire a new press rebuild from scratch
Understand and wire VFD drives and motors
Understand the operations of a stamping press and its ancillary equipment
Troubleshot a stamping press and its ancillary equipment
Perform Inspections of metal forming and related equipment (mostly presses).
Disassemble equipment and check for damage and excessive wear.
Document findings and review with MPA supervision or engineering.
Clean, deburr, and prepare components for assembly.
Fit and assemble components using best industry standards and procedures.
Positively represent MPA both in plant and at customer facility.
Always follow safety protocol. Respect and adhere to customer safety protocol at their facility, as it may differ from those used at the MPA facility.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area both in plant and at customer facility.
Be a courteous driver and obey traffic laws while driving to and from customer facility. You are still a representative of MPA.
