Job Description
The Preventative Maintenance Technician will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment used in feedlot and farming operations, including trucks, tractors, loaders, feed wagons, skid steers, and utility vehicles.
Diagnose and repair small engines on equipment such as 4-wheelers, generators, pumps, and other essential farm machinery.
Maintain detailed service and repair logs for all equipment to ensure proper documentation and compliance with operational standards.
Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Weld using MIG, TIG, stick, and gas techniques for equipment repair and fabrication needs, following specifications and safety protocols.
Change, repair, and maintain tires for both light and heavy-duty agricultural vehicles.
Perform heavy physical labor and work from plans, blueprints, or verbal instructions to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Assist in training and mentoring less experienced maintenance staff, ensuring proper procedures and safety practices are followed.
Follow and give clear oral and written instructions; communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment without constant supervision.
Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned, returned, and stored properly after use; account for all parts and materials.
Accurately track time and labor on work orders and daily job duties.
Work independently and manage time effectively; seek assistance only when needed.
Be self-motivated to identify maintenance needs before issues escalate, reducing equipment failure and operational delays.
Follow all safety procedures and promote a culture of safety for yourself and your team.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in agricultural or feedlot settings
Welding and fabrication skills preferred
Ability to operate and maintain a wide range of farm equipment and vehicles
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor in outdoor environments
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Valid driver's license
Dress and Personal Protective Equipment:
Must wear appropriate clothing for all operations to protect against injury-safety glasses; no loose clothing; gloves; ear protection; etc.

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. Provides adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
