Staff Related:

Works with the administrative support staff to maintain updated patient resource lists (e.g. maintain updated list of transportation resources).

A minimum of three (3) years of hospice/home health experience required; five (5) to seven (7) years' experience and clinical expertise in hospice preferred.
Certification in hospice nursing (CHPN) preferred.
Expertise in regulatory requirements and compliance as it pertains to hospice required.
Must be able to travel extensively through region, including overnight stays if needed. Frequently works variable hours/days; activities and workload may require extended days.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably interact at all social levels and with colleagues from many different background, ethic origins and skill levels required.

Physician Hematology and Oncology Employment Type: Full-Time, Hospital-Employed Join Our Leading Oncology Team in Saginaw, MI Covenant HealthCare is seeking two dedicated and skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physicians in Hematology and Oncology to join our dynamic, patient-centered team. Position Overview:
Provide full-scope Medical Oncology and Hematology care within a multidisciplinary setting.
Approximately 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient responsibilities.
Clinical focus includes 30% Hematology (benign and malignant) and 70% Solid Tumors.
Manage an outpatient panel of around 25 patients per clinic, with inpatient volumes averaging 5-10 patients.
Collaborate within a cohesive team of three Medical Oncologists (covering both Hematology and Solid Tumors) and one dedicated Hematologist.
Engage in mentoring opportunities with a team that values professional growth and continuous learning.
Maintain peer-to-peer consults with MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Support from dedicated medical assistants, clinic RNs, and inpatient nurse practitioners.
Facility and Program Highlights:
Practice within a state-of-the-art Cancer Care Center offering comprehensive diagnostics, infusion services, and specialized treatments.
26-bed inpatient hematology/oncology unit providing a carefully coordinated, patient-focused experience.
Access to advanced radiation therapy technology including Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator with Brainlab/Exactrac planning, the region s only provider of Xofigo for bone metastases, and Brachytherapy using Flexitron technology.
Outpatient Infusion Therapy Center with modern amenities.
Recently renovated Breast Health Center dedicated to early detection and prevention.
Regional referral hub delivering integrated care with convenience and excellence.
Collaboration with academic institutions for teaching and research opportunities, particularly with Central Michigan University s College of Medicine.
Consistently ranks in the top 10% nationally for patient experience.

Qualifications:
MD or DO with Board Certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology.
Eligibility for medical licensure in Michigan.
Willingness to work a mixed inpatient/outpatient schedule.

Support for H-1B visa candidates (J-1 waivers are not accepted).
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary between $525,000 and $625,000, based on MGMA standards, with a guaranteed base for the first two years.
$50,000 sign-on bonus and potential productivity bonus.
Relocation assistance up to $15,000.
Student loan repayment/educational stipends for residents and fellows.
