Assist with preparation of monthly and ad hoc reports. Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials Thorough knowledge of construction principles, techniques and procedures, occupational hazards, and safety precautions. Ability to effectively discuss project issues with contractors, project team and clients, including ability to resolve conflict situations. Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the project team, obtaining and sharing necessary information. Strong organizational skills and understanding of task assignments and schedule. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation. Willingness to learn new tasks such as environmental compliance. Working knowledge of critical path method scheduling. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe or BlueBeam. CAD (Computer Aided Design) experience is desirable but not required. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field from an ABET accredited university. 5-10 plus years of experience working on construction projects for a contractor or as an owner's representative. Hands-on experience with the inspection and contract administration of construction projects. Experience with traffic control and inspections of traffic control devices in the field. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, Certified Construction Manager (CCM) can be substituted for a PE, will consider an EIT (Engineer in Training) at a minimum.
