Internship Overview:
Intuitive Machines is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Propulsion Intern. This internship is designed for students pursuing degrees in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Key Responsibilities:

Understand requirements of the feature and/or the schematics of the controller / control system, verify functionality and debug/report anomalies to the development team and help validate fixes.
+ **Engineering Data Analytics:** Leverage ability to write and understand computer code, especially Python; apply knowledge of data analytics/data science, machine learning concepts/tools, and engineering and statistics fundamentals.

The objective of the Engineering Intern is to prepare for the heavy civil construction industry. This is accomplished through field and office experiences working alongside Civil, Mechanical and Environmental Engineers in a dynamic hands-on program.
Safety:

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston office. We will host our Summer 2026 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
Compensation And Other Benefits
Pay Range $23.22-$31.01 USD hourly

What you will do:
The selected candidate will work in the Tallgrass Project Management department in Houston, Texas. The intern's main responsibility will be to support the Environmental Manager in the day-to-day running of a major project. You will become part of the project management team of a project.
You can expect to:
Supporting the department's effort to permit large projects in the US by creating tracking sheets of the required permits and consents, collecting and archiving data from previous projects.
Developing presentations and reports to manage progress in permitting projects.
Assist in the preparation of reports and ad Hoc tasks as requested by the Environmental Regulatory Manager.

The intern will learn the basic tasks of running a large capital project and be exposed to the decision-making processes of environmental and regulatory programs.
